3 Golden Chests – Overview
Endorphina has released a bit of a weird little slot called 3 Golden Chests.
A game with a nondescript theme of just coins.
So here is the short review.
You will find 4 reels which are each 3 symbols high with no real paylines. I mean no payline, because you can’t get wins during normal spins. Normal spins can only trigger a bonus feature.
You can only land blank spots, coins with cash values or coins with the color of one of the chests on top. That’s it.
3 Golden Chests comes with a low maximum payout of 1.400x bet. And it’s a high volatile slot game.
Features
Hold & Spin
When you get a coin on each spot of the middle line you will trigger a Hold & Spin feature.
Coins that have one of the three colors become sticky, so they will stay on that line until you trigger a bonus.
You get 3 re-spins and only coins or blank spots appear. Coins are held and resets the number of spins. A basic Hold & Spin mechanism.
The special coins that can land award the following:
- Red – multiplies the value with up to a x10 multiplier and will then become a normal coin with the new value
- Green – Awards one of the jackpots or a normal value of x7 or x10
- Purple – Collects all values of all coins on the reels and takes that value
The feature ends when you run out of re-spins or fill the entire screen.
Verdict
I’m going to be short, I’m not a fan of this game
It’s way too basic. Normal spins can’t award anything, just giving you dead spins until you manage to line up 4 coins to get the Hold & Spin feature.
And to be honest, that feature isn’t even interesting. It’s a very basic feature with only those special coins, which might award something more, but also aren’t that exciting either. Add the very low 1.400 times bet maximum payout and you just get a boring bonus game that most of the time rewards you with bad wins.
For me this is a fail. And I don’t recommend this game at all.
Which is a shame, because I love Endorphina slots, they are always a bit more basic, but have some cool features or big win possibility. This one has neither.
