3 Magic Eggs – Overview
Pragmatic Play has released a very cute looking new slot game called 3 Magic Eggs.
A game with three colorful baby dragons on top of the reels and the same colored dragon eggs appearing on the reels. Set in a sort of Viking/How to Tran Your Dragon setting.
You will find 5 reels that are each 3 symbols high and a total of 25 lines.
Besides low paying card symbols and medium to high paying Viking themed symbols, you will also find wild symbols on all reels. There are no normal scatter symbols, but there are three different colored eggs on all reels which are needed to trigger a bonus.

Three different colored dragon eggs can land on each reel. Each time an egg lands, the corresponding dragon will collect the egg. And at any point when an egg is collected it may trigger free spins with the modifier of that colored dragon active. More than one dragon can become active at the same time, combining their modifiers.
You are awarded with 3 free spins where on the normal reels only blank spots and money symbols can appear with a value of between 0,6 and 50 times bet. Each time a new Money symbol lands, it is held until the end of the spins and the spins are reset back to three.
When the Green, Red and/or Blue dragons are active, you get an extra row or rows where special eggs can land. These special eggs will do the following:
- Green – Can land Collect and Super Collect eggs. A collect egg will collect all value on that reel and pay them, a super collect egg will collect all values from all reels and pay them.
- Red – Can land Mini, Minor, Major or Grand jackpot eggs. Collect enough of them to win the corresponding jackpot worth 10x, 20x, 100x and 2.000x bet respectively.
- Blue – Can land multiplier eggs which will multiply all egg values with x2, x3 or x5 on that reel.
The feature ends when you run out of spins, or when all spots are filled with eggs, if that happens, you are also awarded the Grand Jackpot amount.
Bonus Buys
You are able to buy the free spins for 60x, 70x, 100x and 200x bet to award 1, between 1 and 3, 2 or all 3 modifiers active respectively.
Verdict
3 Magic Eggs is a very cute and colorful looking slot game. I really enjoy themes like this.
But the gameplay is just one of those slots with 3 different features on top, that can trigger at random. There are many of these games out there. And you either like them or you don’t.
I think it’s OK, but nothing really special. I think the Hold & Spin feature, especially with all three modifiers active, can be pretty fun. But with only one modifier, it’s a bit basic, even boring sometimes.
