Banana Town Overview
For their latest release Relax Gaming has chosen to use a monkey theme, but in 8 bit style. Think games like Flame Busters or Santa’s Stack. I know some players love this type of graphics. For me personally, it’s fine. I enjoy normal graphics better, but again, I don’t mind it.
The new game is called Banana Town and symbols only consist of different colored bananas and several monkeys. And you can find golden dollar symbols on all reels, which are the scatter symbol. The game doesn’t use wilds.
Banana Town uses scatter pays. Winning combinations don’t need to appear on a line or in a group. Instead as long as you have 8 or more of the same symbols in view, this counts as winning combination.
And it also uses cascading symbols. Winning symbols are removed and the new symbols fall on top, creating the option for another win.
Banana Town comes with a big maximum payout of 10.000 times your bet.
Banana Town Features
On the right of the game you will find all symbols that might appear on the screen (except scatters). These all start with a x1 multiplier.
When you get a winning combination with a certain symbol. The symbols are removed and the corresponding multiplier is then doubles. This will keep happening until you have no more winning combinations.
The maximum multiplier for a symbol can be x64.
At random multiplier can already start on a certain number.
Free Spins Feature
3 scatter symbols will award 8 free spins. Every extra scatter symbols will add 1 more free spin.
Any multipliers already active when you trigger the free spins feature will carry over.
And during free spins the multipliers never reset, they can only go up.
Each scatter symbol appearing during free spins will add 1 more free spin.
For 100 times your bet you can buy the free spins feature. This will guarantee at least 3 scatter symbols.
Bana Town doesn’t use a lot of special, unique bonuses or features. It’s a pretty straightforward game.
Sure the scatter pays is something we don’t see that often, but not new. Which is a feature I like by the way.
The only real bonus are those increasing multipliers. And during the base game that isn’t that exciting, but during free spins this can really become a highly rewarding feature. Certainly when you can get those multiplier to reach big numbers.
No wonder the game has a maximum payout of 10.000 times your bet.
I overall like the game. I think it’s fun, comes with a solid bonus and cna pay out huge.
