Swintt has released a new online slot game called Duolito Iceman Tower. Which to be honest is a clone of an earlier release, earlier this year called Wild Chicken.
This time they went with an Italian theme surrounding ice cream, or gelato as they call it in Italy.
The game uses 5 reels that are each 3 symbols high and comes with 10 lines.
Besides low paying card symbols, which can appears stacked on all reels, there are also medium to high paying ice cream symbols and as a highest paying symbol the ice cream maker. Scatter symbols, which are Italian shields, appear on all reels. And so do wilds in the form of the Tower of Pisa.
Duolito Iceman Tower comes with a very nice maximum payout of 10.000 times your bet and is a high volatile slot game.
Features
Walking Wilds
When a wild symbol appears on the reels during base spins or during free spins, it will move one reel to the left after each spin. Until it walks off the reels.
More than one wild can appear or be on the reels at the same time.
Free Spins Feature
3 or more scatter symbols will award 10 free spins.
During free spins each scatter symbol that appears is collected and after 4 of them, the wild will be upgraded to 2 symbols high. After another 4 it will be upgraded to a wild symbol that is 3 symbols high and after the last 4 scatters collected, wilds become expanding wilds and will always cover the entire reel.
Wild still walk to the left after each spin, but this walking will not cost you a free spin. Each move will add a +1 spin tot the total.
3 or more scatter at the same time will add 10 more free spins.
Verdict
Like I mentioned in my Wild Chicken review, if you are a little familiar with online slot games you might recognize this game. Not only Jack and the Beanstalk from NetEnt but also Tirzona from Merkur Gaming use this mechanism of walking, upgrading wilds.
I really like these games, but I am not sure we needed another one this soon after Wild Chicken.
But, overall it’s s fun game with good features. And I always enjoy playing these types of slots.
