Wild Chicken – Overview
It’s been a while since I last reviewed a new Swintt slot game. Which is a shame because they have some cool new games from time to time.
So now I’m reviewing their latest online slot release called Wild Chicken.
As the name suggests, the game revolves around a chicken and comes with a farm theme.
The game uses 5 reels that are each 3 symbols high and comes with 10 lines.
Besides low paying card symbols, which can appears stacked on all reels, there are also medium to high paying chicken symbols. Scatter symbols, which are sacks of hay, appear on all reels. And so do wilds.
Wild Chicken comes with a pretty big maximum payout of 10.000 times your bet and is a high volatile slot game.
Features
Walking Wilds
When a wild symbol appears on the reels during base spins or during free spins, it will move one reel to the left after each spin. Until it walks off the reels.
More than one wild can appear or be on the reels at the same time.
Free Spins Feature
3 or more scatter symbols will award 10 free spins.
During free spins each scatter symbol that appears is collected and after 4 of them, the wild will be upgraded to 2 symbols high. After another 4 it will be upgraded wild symbol that is 3 symbols high and after the last 4 scatters collected, wilds become expanding wilds and will always cover the entire reel.
Wild still walk to the left after each spin, but this walking will not cost you a free spin. Each move will add a +1 spin tot the total.
3 or more scatter at the same time will add 10 more free spins.
Verdict
If you are a little familair with online slot games you might recognize the gameplay from both Jack and the Beanstalk from NetEnt and Tirzona from Merkur Gaming.
But I don’t mind the fact that’s not a new game. I like the features and especially the free spins feature. Upgrading those wilds and then hitting them, can award some great wins.
The theme if fine, but nothing special. But seems to work.
