I’m always a big fan of Middle Eastern, 1001 nights themes. I love it in movies but also I think it’s an amazing theme to use for a slot game. And luckily Pragmatic Play didn’t go with an Egyptian theme this time, but with a Middle Eastern theme for their latest release, Gold Oasis.
It all feels a bit dark and mysterious and the reels are set against a desert at dusk. Which makes for a great look.
The game uses 5 reels that are each 3 symbols high and comes with 234 ways instead of paylines. But on this game, it doesn’t matter where you start, it could be reels 2, 3 and 5, they still count as winning ways.
Besides low paying card symbols you will also find medium paying objects and high paying characters. All these symbols appear stacked on all reels. The game doesn’t feature wild symbols, but does come with bonus symbols on reels 1, 3 and 5.

Symbol Duel
During any normal spin, at random, the Symbol Duel feature can be triggered. One random symbol is picked and between 2 and 10 other symbols are randomly picked and will all change into the chosen symbol.
Free Spins Feature
Get all three bonus symbols on reels 1, 3 and 5 at the same time to trigger 5 free spins.
During free spins all symbols will pay as if they are a 5-of-a-kind, even if it’s a 3 or 4 of a kind.
Each bonus symbol that appears during free spins will be collected. Each time you collected 2 of them a duel between 2 random symbols occurs. The winning symbol will replace all instances of the losing symbol for the remaining of the free spins.
A total of 10 duels can happen and each time you trigger a duel you will get 2 or 1 more extra free spin.
Bonus Buy
Some casinos will offer the option to buy the free spins feature.
For 100 times your bet you buy the normal free spins feature, as mentioned above.
For 200 times your bet you buy the same free spins feature, but now the highest paying symbol will always win the duel.
