Legion Gold Overview

It’s time for another new slot game release by Play’n Go. And this time the game is called Legion Gold.

The game uses a Roman theme. Where reels seem to be set against a Roman throne with big marble pillars on each side.

You will find 5 reels that are each 3 symbols high and uses 25 lines.

Besides standard card symbols and different types of animal symbols, you will also find stacked wild symbols on all reels. There are also golden coin symbols on all reels, which can also appear stacked. And lastly we have scatter symbols that can only appear on reels 1, 3 and 5.

Legion Gold comes with a pretty low maximum payout of only 2.000 times your bet.

Legion Gold Features

Gold Re-spins

6 or more golden coin symbols will trigger the Gold Re-spins feature.

All coins, which by the way have multipliers on them, stay in place and the rest of the symbols re-spin. Only golden coins appear during these respins.

You start with 3 re-spins, which will increase each time new golden coins appear.

The feature ends when you have no more re-spins or when you fill the entire screen with golden coins. If you manage to fill all reels you are awarded an extra 1.000 times bet on top of the total multipliers collected.

During free spins a mega symbol of 3 by 3 symbols big will move to a random spot before each free spin.

You can’t win extra free spins.

Verdict

I have to say I’m a bit disappointed with Legion Gold.

The theme is fine, but also nothing special. And that’s the same with the gameplay. Both features is something we’ve seen a lot of times before. That’s not a bad thing and the features are fun. But what makes it worse is the fact that the game only has a maximum win of 2.000 times bet. Which seems to be very low, even for a simple game like this.

Maybe the team at Play’n Go is busy with something spectacular and they needed to release a game quickly, or they were just a bit lazy.

Normally I’m a big fan of Play’n Go games, but Legion Gold doesn’t impress.

You can still try the game out for yourself at casinos like Energy Casino>>, Wheelz>> and N1 Casino>>.
