In 2019 Pragmatic Play released a game called The Dog House. That game instantly became very popular and also received several sequels. Now Pragmatic Play is doing a re-skin with Lobster House. But to be fair, there are some differences in payout and an added bonus buy option.
Lobster House comes with a lobster theme. The main characters are different lobsters chilling on a beach. Which does make for a very colorful slot game.
The game uses 5 reels that are each 3 symbols high and comes with 20 lines.
Besides low paying card symbols you will also find medium paying summer items and then we have the high paying lobsters. Wild symbols can appear on reels 2, 3 and 4 and come with a multiplier of x2 or x3. Scatter symbols, or bonus symbols, appear on reel 1, 3 and 5.
Lobster House comes with a maximum payout of 4.000 times bet, which is lower than The Dog House, which came with 6.750 times bet. The game is a high volatile slot.

Getting all 3 scatter symbols at the same time will trigger the free spins feature.
Before free spins start, 9 clams are opened to reveal 1, 2 or 3 free spins each. So the minimum free spins is 9 and the maximum 27. After this free spins start.
Any wild symbol appearing will become a sticky wild and will stay on the reels until the end of the feature.
You can’t win extra free spins during this feature.
Bonus Buy
For 100 times your bet you are able to buy the free spins feature. For 400 times your bet you are able to but Super Free Spins. During these spins wilds come with a multiplier of x15 or x25.
Verdict
Lobster House doesn’t really improve on the original game it is based on. I know they added a bonus but feature and even Super free spins with a lot higher multipliers.
When I saw this I thought, this game must be able to pay out a lot. I mean multipliers of x15 and x25. Hence my surprise when I saw that maximum payout is even lower than The Dog House. Weird, just weird.
I mean, it’s a fun looking game and the basics are pretty much the same. But I just wished they did something more with it.
