Treasure Sparks – Overview
Realtime Gaming (RTG) has released a new online slot game called Treasure Sparks.
An Asian themed slot game with a 3-pot mechanism and Hold & Spin bonus. The game uses a lot of gold and red and big symbols.
The game uses 5 reels which are each 3 symbols high and comes with 25 paylines.
You will find low paying card symbols and medium to high paying “Asian” themed symbols like a lantern and gold coins. Wild symbols are also present and can appear on all reels. Then we have three three differently colored coins that can appear on all reels and also correspond with the three fireworks on the left of the reels.
Treasure Sparks comes with a low maximum payout of 2.000 times your bet and is a medium volatile slot game.
Features
Hold & Spin
Each time a colored coin lands, it is collected by the corresponding fireworks on the left of the reels. At random one, two or all three modifiers can become active and will trigger a Hold & Spin feature.
You are awarded with 3 re-spins where only coins and blank spots land. Each time a new coin lands, it is held and re-spins are reset back to three. The feature ends when you run out of re-spins or fill the entire screen with coins. If you fill the entire reels with coins you are also awarded the Grand jackpot worth 500x bet.
The three modifiers are:
- Blue – Twin Boost – You are awarded an extra reel set during Hold & Spin feature.
- Purple – Extra Sparks – Get 4 re-spins instead of the normal 3.
- Green – Mystic Sparks – At random, after each re-spin, one or more coins will be increased in value.
Bonus Buy
You can buy the Hold & Spin feature for 25x, 21x, 24x or 71x bet with one of the modifiers active, or all three of the modifiers active.
Verdict
To be honest, Treasure Sparks is a very basic slot game with features that have been done way too much at this point.
It really doesn’t offer anything new or even really exciting.
The only thing I like about this slot is the big symbols it uses and the color scheme. But that’s pretty much all I give it.
It’s not a bad game. It’s just very bland and very predictable.
