Milk the Cow – Hold & Win is a new online slot game by Thunderkick.
A colorful farming theme, seemingly a dairy farm because of all the cows and milk.
The game uses 5 reels that are 5 symbols high and comes with cluster pays. 5 or more of the same symbols that are horizontally and/or vertically connected, count as a winning combination.
Besides low paying vegetable symbols you will also find medium to high paying farming tool symbols. There are wild symbols that can appear on all reels and also Bonus symbols, which can also appear on each reel.

Features
Wild Field
This feature is triggered when 2 wild symbols land on the reels. The wilds will be connected, creating the largest possible rectangle of wild symbols. And at random up to 5 extra wilds can also be added after the field is created.
Field Day
This feature is triggered when 2 bonus symbols land anywhere on the reels. Which will, as with the fields, now create a field between them. A farmer will now come onto the reels from the left and stop on a random spot on the reeks. If the farmer lands inside the field, a fenced field is created and adjacent “hot zones” are added and the bonus game is triggered. If he doesn’t land on the field, the game continues at normal.
Bonus Game
If the farmer lands in the field, as explained above, you will receive 3 free spins. Only blank spots and cows can appear during these spins.
All cow symbols will lock in place when they appear and reset the free spins back to 3.
When a cow lands on fenced part it will be filled after each new spin. A cow start at bronze level and will upgrade to silver and finally gold. Cow symbols only upgrade if they are inside the fenced field.
The farmer can still appear during free spins and when he lands on a “hot zone” spot, the fenced field will be increased.
The bonus game ends when all spins are used or all positions are filled with cow symbols. You are awarded for each cow on the screen, paying more for silver and more for gold cows than bronze.

Verdict
Milk the Cow – Hold & Win is one of those Hold & Collect slots. Like we see many of these days.
But Thunderkick was able to make it more unique then most with the Fields and the Farmer. It’s also nice that they added that Wild Field feature, so the base game also keeps going.
And as always, the game looks very good.
It might not be a very innovating or especially exciting new slot game, but it does do it’s job well.
