Pragmatic Play wouldn’t be Pragmatic Play if they didn’t keep up with their “Big Bass” releases. So here is another one into the series.
But to give some credit. A lot of the times they are just clones of other Big Bass slots. This time they have added some new features. So let’s find out.
The game uses the the classic theme and symbols, but now it’s all electrified. Everything has a electric frame around it and uses more bright, neon colors. Which does make it look pretty nice.
You will have 5 reels which are each 3 symbols high and 10 paylines.
There are are low paying card symbols and medium to high paying fishing themed symbols. Then, of course, fish symbols, which can appear stacked on all reels and come with cash values. And scatter symbols on all reels. But this time, wild symbols can also appear during the base spins, but only on reels 1 and 5.
Big Bass Blast has a maximum payout of 5.000 times your bet and is a high volatile slot game.

Fisherman and Fish Collection
Wild symbols, which is the fisherman, can land on reels 1 and 5 during both the base spins and also during free spins.
During base spins, it can also come with a random multiplier of x2, x3 or x10. Any fish symbols that are on the reels when one or both wilds are on screen, will be collected by the wilds and multiplied, if a multiplier is active. Fish come with a random value of between 0,5 and 500x bet.
Free Spins Feature
3, 4 or 5 scatter symbols will award 5, 7 and 9 free spins respectively.
During each free spin, one wild symbol is guaranteed to hit.
Each wild that appears is collected into a meter on top of the reels. Every 7th collected will add 5 more free spins and also increase the multiplier of wild symbols to x2, x3 and finally x10.
After x10 no more extra free spins can be won.
When one or both wilds appear, but there are no fish it is possible that the game will randomly add fish symbols.

For 100 times your bet you can buy the free spins feature, which will award 3, 4 or 5 scatter symbols.
Verdict
Like I mentioned at the start, Pragmatic Play has been releasing these Big Bass games for a couple of years now. And I’m guessing we have almost 20 of them now. Also, I don;t think they are stopping any time soon, because somehow these games keep being popular.
I am very happy that they made some changes to Big Bass Blast and I’m not talking about the theme. But the fact that wilds can now appear during base spins and award fish, is a nice addition.
Also the fact that you get a guaranteed wild during free spins is nicely done. And makes the game feel a bit different. Of course you need more wilds now, so at least 2 spins with both wilds is needed to progress to the next multiplier. But still, it’s a fun new mechanism.
Overall it’s still pretty much, if you like these games, you will probably like Big Bass Blast. If you don’t like these games, I don’t think this one will change your mind.
