Burgers – Overview
Big Time Gaming released a game called Donuts in 2018 and later in 2020 a game called Chocolates. Pretty similar types of games. Now in 2024 they have released Burgers, which feels and looks the most like the original Donuts slot. To be honest, it’s looks a lot like the Donuts slot, except for the symbols. Like the game is played at the same location.
The reels are set against, what seems like the Grand Canyon, with a small diner on the left. It looks very 50’s and is a cool look.
You will find 4 reels that are each 4 symbols high and the game uses 256 ways. Below the reels there is an extra reel, which I will explain later.
Besides low paying card symbols you will also find high paying hamburger symbols in the standard Big Time Gaming colors, where purple is always the highest paying one. There are also wild symbols on reels 2, 3 and 4 and lastly scatter symbols, which are golden french fries, can appear on all reels.
Burgers comes with a massive maximum payout of 102.840 times your bet and is a high volatile slot game.

Bonus Reel
Below the normal reels there is an extra row of symbols which is called the bonus reel.
During each spin, blank spots, ingredients or ice cubes will slide into this row. Ingredients are onions, lettuce or tomatoes, which will add a multiplier to any burgers on reel above it. Onions can have a x2 or x3 multiplier, lettuce a x4 or x5 multiplier and tomatoes a x8 or x10 multiplier.
During base spins, ice cubes can also appear, which always come with a x2 multiplier. These are added to any wild symbol appearing above the same reel.
Any winning combination that has multipliers, will be multiplied by all multipliers.
Free Spins Feature
3 or 4 scatter symbols will award 12 and 16 free spins respectively.
The first ice cube symbol appearing comes with a x2 multiplier, each following ice cube symbol will become x1 higher than before. So the multiplier on wilds can only go up. Ingredients are also in play, as explained above.
3 or 4 scatter symbols during free spins will add 4 and 8 extra free spins.
Bonus Buy
Some casinos will offer the option to buy the free spins feature for 100x bet. This will award 12 free spins.
Win Exchange
The game also comes with something they all Win Exchange. If you win 100x or more your bet during a base spin, you can trade this for 12 free spins. If you win between 25x and 100x your bet, you can gamble the win for a chance to win 12 free spins or lose it.
Verdict
I always loved Donuts and Chocolates. I thought these where great games. And Burgers doesn’t disappoint either.
Somehow the game feels very similar and recognizable, but still is very different from the others I mentioned.
The burger theme is fun. I also like how they use ingredients and ice as multipliers. And this game can really award huge wins, especially during free spins. Get the wild multiplier high enoug and then combine 2 on a same spin and winnings can become massive.
Burgers fits perfectly with their other “food themed” slots and I am very happy with this release.
