The game looks pretty much the same as before. It comes with a Asian theme with classic symbols and those dragon heads you see on the streets, where people play in a big dragon costume.
You will find 5 reels that are 3 symbols high and comes with 10 lines.
Besides low paying card symbols there are all sorts of Asian themed symbols, like lanterns. There are also wilds on all reels. And lastly the dragon symbols, which can also appear on each reel.
Dragon King Hot Pots comes with a maximum payout of 5.000 times your bet and is a high volatile slot game.

Mini Slot Machine Bonus
During the base game, when 1 or 2 dragons appear, there is a chance that one or both transform into small mini slots. If 3 or more of these dragons appear, they will all guaranteed change into mini slots.
These mini slots will spin and award a reward each time a three-of-a-kind of 8 symbols appears. Slots keep spinning until no winning combination appears on a slot, then that specific slot becomes inactive. Until all slots are inactive the bonus keeps going.
Combinations on slots will pay the following:

Verdict
I wasn’t a big fan of the original Year of the Dragon King slot game. And I’m also not a fan of Dragon King Hot Pots.
It’s a pretty basic and to be honest, pretty boring game. These types of games have been around for years and the look doesn’t help either.
I am sure that if you like the original, you will also like this game, or version. For me, it’s a pass.
