Good Old 7’s – Overview
NetEnt has released a new online slot game called Good Old 7’s. It’s one of those classic looking slots with an art deco style and basic bars, sevens and diamond symbols.
The game uses 5 reels that are each 3 symbols high and comes with 243 ways instead of lines. So winning symbols pay from left to right, starting on reel 1, no matter where on the reels.
Besides low paying fruit symbols and high paying classic slot symbols, you will also find stacked wild symbols on reels 2, 3 and 4. And lastly there is a special wheel symbol on reel 5.
Good Old 7’s comes with a maximum payout of 3.348 times your bet and is a high volatile slot game.
Features
Twin Reel
When one or more fully stacked wild symbols lands on the reels, the Twin Reel feature is triggered.
One of the reels without the wild symbols will be cloned onto another reel.
Bonus Wheel
If the Wheel symbol lands on reel 5 you will trigger a bonus wheel with prizes between x2 and 100x bet. The wheel will spin and land on a random multiplier. You are able to respin the wheel 2 more times if you are not happy with your winnings.
Verdict
To be honest, this game is kind of a dud.
The theme is very basic. The 234 don’t seem to add a lot of excitement and even the Twin Reels aren’t great, especially since it’s not possible to clone a wild reel, which would have been much more interesting.
And lastly we have that bonus wheel, which is what it is, a wheel.
I’m not sure, but NetEnt seems to be releasing bad titles more often these days, which wasn’t the case a couple of years ago. They have more games coming soon, one of them being Jack Hammer 3. So let’s hope they impress us with those titles. Because Good Old 7’s doesn’t.
