Play’n Go has released a new online slot game called Temple of Prosperity.
This new game comes with a pretty standard Asian theme where the reels are set inside a temple. All very colorful.
The game uses 5 reels that are each 5 symbols high and comes with scatter pays. Any 6 or more of the same symbols, anywhere on the reels, count as a winning combination.
Besides low paying card symbols you will also find medium and high paying animal symbols. There are also jade scatter symbols on all reels and coin symbols. Lastly we have a special collect symbol. There are no wild symbols on this game.
Temple of Prosperity comes with a big maximum payout of 10.000 times your bet and is a high volatile slot game.

Cascading Symbol
All winning combinations are removed from the reels and the rest of the symbols fall down. New symbols then fall on top creating the option for another win. This keeps repeating until no new win appears.
Coin Collection
The game also features golden coins that come with a value of x1, x2, x5 or x10. Or one of the set jackpot amounts, Mini (25x), Minor(100x), Major(250x) and Grand(x1.000).
If the special Collection symbol appears, which is a Caishen symbol, he will collect all coins on screen. The total winnings are awarded after all cascades end.
Free Spins Feature
3 or 4 scatter symbols will award 8 and 13 free spins respectively. 5 scatter symbols will award 18 free spins with a x2 multiplier.
The free spins feature has 3 different stages. Collect scatter symbols on the left of the reel to move up to the next stage.
- Collect 5 scatters to move to stage 2, awarding 5 more free spins and activate a x3 multiplier
- Collect another 5 scatters to move to stage 3, awarding 5 more free spins and activate a x5 multiplier
When you reached stage 3, scatter symbols no longer appear and no more extra spins can be won.
The active multiplier also applies to any Coin Collection wins during free spins.
Verdict
Temple of Prosperity is a pretty basic game. That’s not to say it’s not a fun game. but it doesn’t offer anything new.
The collection during base spins does keep the game more interesting. And of course during free spins, because of the multiplier, it can award some great wins. And overall the collecting of scatters to move to a next level is pretty fun.
So it’s a good game, which I think players will enjoy, but for me it doesn’t offer anything special or new.
