Relax Gaming decides to release another Money Train slot. But they have also revealed that it’s also the very last ib the series. So no more Money Train releases after this last, amazing release. Which of course is simply called Money Train 4. But they did add a tagline, The Last Stand. Not that much has changed in the core gameplay from Money Train, Money Train 2 and Money Train 3. But of course there are differences.

The game is still set in some sort of steampunk wild west. With an apocalyptic background and modern technology combined.
The game is played on 6 reels, that are each 6 symbols high and uses a scatter pays mechanism. Getting 8 or more from the high paying symbols, or 10 or more of the low paying symbols, anywhere on the reels, count as a winning combination.
The low paying symbols are the four suits and the high paying symbols the 4 different characters. Besides these standard symbols you will also find Bonus symbols which are either silver or gold. The game doesn’t come with wild symbols.
Money Train 4 comes with the biggest maximum win of all of these games, 150.000 times your bet. Which is huge! And of course the game is also very highly volatile.
Money Train 4 Features
Respin Feature
After any normal spin the Respin Feature might trigger at random. The symbol that is most present on the reels will become sticky and all other symbols will respin. During these respins only blank spots, the chosen symbol or multiplier symbols can appear.
As long as the chosen symbol or a multiplier symbol lands, the respins keep going. The chosen symbols will also become sticky, the multiplier will increase a general multiplier which will be applied to the total win after respins are done.
Money Cart Bonus
When 3 or more bonus symbols land anywhere you will trigger the Money Cart Bonus.
The bonus is played on a grid that starts out with 6×4 symbols. The bonus symbols triggering the feature will reveal a multiplier and you will receive 3 respins. If a Persistent symbol is one of the symbols that triggered the bonus, this will first activate its feature before the respins start and it will be held.
As long as new multiplier symbols or bonus symbols land on the reels, the respins are reset. And the new symbol is held. Of course this latest Money Train addition also comes with a huge amount of special bonus symbols that can appear during respins. The full list is below.
When a full row of symbols is filled, a new row will open up. A total of 4 rows can be opened in total.
The feature ends when you run out of respins, full the entire grid with symbols or hit the maximum payout of 1500.000 times bet.
These are all special bonus symbols that might appear, besides the normal multiplier symbols:
- Collector – Will collect all values on the reels and adds it to its own value
- Persistent Collector – Will collect all values on the reels and adds it to its own value and continues to do this after each and every respin
- Adjacent Collector – Will collect all values from all adjacent spots and adds it to its own value
- Persistent Adjacent Collector – Will collect all values from all adjacent spots and adds it to its own value and continues to do this after each and every respin
- Payer – Has a value and will add that value to all other symbols on the reels
- Persistent Payer – Has a value and will add that value to all other symbols on the reels and continues to do this after each and every respin
- Adjacent Payer – Has a value and will add this to all symbols adjacent
- Persistent Adjacent Payer – Has a value and will add this to all symbols adjacent and continues to do this after each and every respin
- Sniper – Will double the value of between 3 to 8 other symbols, it can pick the same symbol several times
- Persistent Sniper – and continues to do this after each and every respin and continues to do this after each and every respin
- Collector Payer – Will select between 3 and 5 other symbols, will collect the values from all these symbols and will then pay this total value back to all the picked symbols
- Persistent Collector Payer – Will select between 3 and 5 other symbols, will collect the values from all these symbols and will then pay this total value back to all the picked symbols and continues to do this after each and every respin
- Arms Dealer – Will change between 1 and 4 multiplier symbols into bonus symbols and those new symbols will then activate the bonus
- Persistent Arms Dealer – Will change 1 multiplier symbol into a bonus symbol and the new symbol will then activate the bonus and continues to do this after each and every respin
- Necromancer – Will reactivate between 2 and 7 already used bonus symbols that are not persistent. The same symbol can be activated several times.
- Persistent Necromancer – Will reactivate between 2 and 7 already used bonus symbols that are not persistent. The same symbol can be activated several times. It continues to do this after each and every respin
- Persistent Shapeshifter – This symbol will turn into a Collector, Payer, Sniper, Collector Payer, Arms Dealer or Unlocker after each respin
- Unlocker – Will unlock a locked row
- Reset Plus – Increases the respins from 3 to 4 respins
- Upgrader – Will upgrade between 1 and 3 normal bonus symbols into persistent bonus symbols
Bonus Buy
You will have the option to buy the normal Money Cart Bonus for 100 times bet. Or buy the feature with at least 1 persistent symbol for 500 times bet.
Verdict
From the moment Relax Gaming released the first Money Train slot, the online slot world changed. Players were obsessed and this increased massively after the sequel.
These are some of the most popular games ever. And inspired a lot of other providers to release the same type of games. A bit like with Big Time Gaming did with Megaways.
And to be honest, well deserved. These games are amazing! Can pay huge! And are always exciting to play. And Relax Gaming never let lose, each new title in the series made some great changes, although small, but also the maximum payout became bigger and bigger.
I think Money Train 4 is a great final release in this series and I’m guessing these titles aren’t losing popularity soon.
