Play’n Go already released a game called Piggy Blitz and Piggy Blitz Disco Gold. Both not that successful to be honest. But here we are, with a third installment called Piggy Blitz Casino Gold.
This version, again, uses the theme of money and wealth combined with pigs, but not with a music theme, but a Vegas theme now.
The game uses 6 reels that are each 4 symbols high and comes with 4096 ways.
Besides low paying card symbols you will also find medium and high paying gambling themed symbols like bells and dice. There are also scatter symbols on all reels and coin symbols. On reels 1 and 5 there are special pig symbols.
Piggy Blitz comes with a maximum payout of 8.000 times your bet and is a medium volatile slot game.
Features
Cash Coins
Golden coin symbols can appear on all reels and have a value of between 0,1 and 25 times bet. Or are a Minor (100x), Major (250x) or Mega (1000x).
A pig symbol can only land on reels 1 and 5. These pig symbols will collect all coin values and pay them. When both pigs land, they will both collect all symbols and pay both.
If both pigs land but no coins, you will get a free re-spin where only blank spots and coins appear. A second chance bonus.
Piggy
When coin symbols appear but there are no pigs, these coins are collected on the left of the reels into a piggy bank.
The piggy bank can randomly be awarded when coins are collected and will award between 10 and 5000 times bet.
Bonus Game Multiplier
The Bonus Game Multiplier is not active during normal spins, but can be increased during normal spins. It starts at x1 and each time exactly two scatters land, it will add s step, after 10 steps it will be increased by x1, up to a maximum of x5.
This multiplier is active during free spins features, but will reset after a free spins bonus is played.
Free Spins Features
3 or more scatter symbols will award the free spins feature. You get to pick between 2 different features, or let the game pick at random.
- Blitz Spinz – 3, 4, 5 and 6 scatter symbols will award 5, 10, 15 and 25 free spins respectively. During these spins only coins and piggy symbols can land. A piggy is guaranteed during each spin.
- Bonus Spinz – 3, 4, 5 and 6 scatter symbols award 8, 10, 15 and 25 free spins respectively. During these spins each scatter symbol is collected and after 4 a new stage triggers. Awarding 8 more free spins and increasing the multiplier by x5. A total of 4 levels are available.
Verdict
I’m pretty bored with all these Piggy Blitz releases including this new one.
It’s a theme that isn’t interesting and it comes with features that have been so overdone, it just doesn’t do it anymore.
Piggy Blitz Casino Gold is another one of those hold & spin, or hold & collect types of slots, but scrambled up a bit, to make it seems like it’s more than it is.
It’s a boring game with a boring theme!
