Barn Busters – Overview
At the end of 2025, Play’n Go released a game called Buildin’ More Bucks. One of those Huff ‘N Puff type slots and a sequel to an earlier title of them. Now they have released Barn Busters, which to be honest is just a clone of that Buildin’ More Bucks slot, with another theme on top of it. So if you know the original, there is no need to read this review, it will be the exact same.
The theme for this one is really the wolf and the three pigs, but the pigs have been replaced by sheep.
You will find 5 reels that are each 3 symbols high and the game uses 243 ways. Meaning that symbols pay left to right, starting on reel 1, no matter where on the reels.
There are low paying card symbols, medium paying gardening tool symbols and high paying sheep characters. There are also wild symbols on all reels and special bell symbols.
Barn Busters comes with a maximum win of 7.500 times your bet and is a medium volatile slot game.
Features
Prize Wheel
When 1 or 2 bell symbols land, they can randomly trigger a spin on the wheel.
On the first wheel you are able to trigger Cashmere Spins or the Mini or Minor worth 10x and 20x bet respectively, or you can land on the upgrade.
On the upgraded wheel you can trigger Woollyhammer Spins, Banksie Spins Major, Grand or Ultra worth 50x, 100x and 500x bet respectively.
When a character spins is triggered, you will receive 6 re-spins with no extra re-spins possible. The scatters that triggered the wheel will get a frame, hay, wood or gold, depending on the character. Any new bell that appears will get the frame from the character.
After all spins are done, the frames will pay. Gold paying more than wood, playing more than hay.
Barn Spins
3 or more bell symbols will trigger 6 free spins. 3 scatters will start the game off with 3 hay frames, 4 scatters will start the game off with 4 wood frames and 5 scatters will start the game off with 5 golden frames.
Each bell that appears will leave a hay frame, or will upgrade a frame if already on that spot from hay to wood and finally to gold.
When the entire reels are full with golden frames and a bell appears, it will award an instant reward of 100 times bet.
During free spins 3 or more bell symbols will spin the wheel on top adding between 1 and 5 extra free spins.
After all spins are done, all frames will award a cash reward.
Verdict
Like I mentioned in my review of Buildin’ More Bucks, it’s one of those Huff ‘n Puff clones. And this one is even a clone of a clone.
If you like these types of games, than you are set. I do think this barnyard theme is more pleasing than the fairy tale one they used on the other game.
I don’t have a lot more to say about this game. It’s a very easy release for Play’n Go. So let’s hope the next one is more original.
