Buildin’ More Bucks – Overview
Last year Play’n Go released a slot game called Buildin’ Bucks and now over a year later it got a sequel with Buildin’ More Bucks.
The theme for this second title is the same as the original, a cute fairy tale theme.
You will find 5 reels that are each 3 symbols high and the game uses 243 ways. Meaning that symbols pay left to right, starting on reel 1, no matter where on the reels.
There are low paying card symbols, medium paying building tool symbols and high paying characters. There are also wild symbols on all reels and special hat symbols.
Buildin’ More Bucks comes with a maximum win of 7.500 times your bet and is a medium volatile slot game.
Features
Prize Wheel
When 1 or 2 Hard Hat symbols land, they can randomly trigger a spin on the wheel.
On the first wheel you are able to trigger Woody Elf Spins or the Mini or Minor worth 10x and 20x bet respectively, or you can land on the upgrade.
On the upgraded wheel you can trigger Grout Bricky Spins, Fairy Mary Spins or the Major, Grand or Ultra worth 50x, 100x and 500x bet respectively.
When a character spins is triggered, you will receive 6 re-spins with no extra re-spins possible. The scatters that triggered the wheel will get a frame, wood, brick or gold, depending on the character. Any new hard hat that appears will get the frame from the character.
After all spins are done, the frames will pay. Gold paying more than brick, playing more than wood.
Magic Spins
3 or more hard hat symbols will trigger 6 free spins. 3 scatters will start the game off with 3 wooden frames, 4 scatters will start the game off with 4 brick frames and 5 scatters will start the game off with 5 golden frames.
Each hard hat that appears will leave a wooden frame, or will upgrade a frame if already on that spot from wood to brick and finally to gold.
When the entire reels are full with golden frames and a hard hat appears, it will award an instant reward of 100 times bet.
During free spins 3 or more hard hat symbols will spin the wheel on top adding between 1 and 5 extra free spins.
After all spins are done, all frames will award a cash reward.
Verdict
Like I mentioned in my review of Buildin’ Bucks, it’s of course a Huff ‘n Puff clone. Those games also have several features, each with some added on feature.
This version, More, just doesn’t add enough new things for me personally. The wheel is a little bit different in how it triggers and you now get a wheel with extra spins during the free spins feature. Which is also slightly different. But that’s it. And in the end, the game still revolves around the Hold & Re-spin bonus. Which has hardly changed.
Maximum payout has been improved by 2.500x bet. So there’s that.
Overall Buildin’ More Bucks is just too similar to the original slot. And I’m not really impressed to be honest.
