Sweet Alchemy 100 Overview
Play’n Go has released a new slot called Sweet Alchemy 100. But wait a minute, to be fair, it’s not a new game, it’s a reskin of an earlier release called Moon Princess 100. They just added the Sweet Alchemy theme on it. Which is a witches theme. All very colorful.
Sweet Alchemy 100 is played on a grid of 5 by 5 symbols. Winning combinations consists of 3, 4 or 5 of the same symbols horizontally or vertically. No matter where on the grid.
Winning symbols are removed and all other symbols fall down. This can create multiple wins within the same spin.
Sweet Alchemy 100 comes with a maximum payout of 15.000 times your bet.
Sweet Alchemy 100 Features
Wild symbols
When a winning combination of exactly three symbols is removed, the middle symbol will leave behind a wild symbol.
Increasing Multiplier
After each cascade the multiplier will go up by x1. And can go up to a maximum of x100.
Witch Power
On any non winning spin the active witch might become active and trigger a random feature.
- Cherry – will change all of the same symbol into another random symbol
- Berry – will add 1 or 2 random wild symbols to the grid
- Apple – All of two different symbols are removed from the grid
Trinity
Next to the grid you will find a meter that consists of three parts. Any winning combination of 3, 4 or 5 witch symbols will fill the meter with 1, 2 or 3 spots respectively.
When you fill the meter you will get 1 free spin where each witch will activate its feature, one after the other. If you manage to clear the entire grid during this Trinity bonus you will trigger the free spins feature.
Free Spins Feature
If you cleared the grid with the Trinity bonus you will get to choose one of the three witches to act as the active feature during free spins.
Each non winning spin will now guarantee to trigger the chosen witch bonus.
Cherry, Berry or Apple will award 4, 5, or 8 free spins respectively. And when you fill the meter as normal you will get 4, 3, or 2 extra free spins. You can win up to 100 free spins during this feature.
Verdict
This game is exactly the same as Moon Princess 100, so the review of the gameplay is also exactly the same.
I liked Moon Princess 100, so I also like this game. And for theme, I don’t think they are that different to be honest. Their both colorful and one is princesses and one os witched, but not evil witches.
I’m not really sure why PLay’n Go released this reskinned version? Maybe they are trying to add more 100 games to their catalogue. Or maybe this witch version works better in for instance Asia, who knows?
