Back in 2020 Pragmatic Play released a game called Wild Wild Riches and released Wild Wild Bananas two years later. Which was a different variation on the game.
And now they have released Wild Wild Riches Megaways. Which takes the original and adds Megaways. And to be honest, that’s all it does. Except for a bigger maximum payout.
The theme is the same Irish theme as before, so expect rainbows, pots of golds and top hats.
Besides all regular symbols you will also find wild symbols on reels 1 and 2. A scatter symbols, which is a top hat on reel 3 only. And pots of gold with cash values on reels 3, 4 and 5. All symbols except the wilds and bonus symbol can appear stacked on all reels.
You will find 6 reels that are between 2 and 7 symbols per reel, which can give up to 117.649 ways per spin.
Wild Wild Riches Megaways comes with a nice maximum payout of 10.000 times bet.

Money Collect Feature
Golden Pot symbols only appear on reels 3, 4 and 5 and come with cash values of between 1 and 25 times bet. Or the Mini, Minor, Mega and Maxi jackpot of 25, 50, 100 and 250 times bet respectively. You can also get a multiplier of x2, x3 or x5, which will multiply all values on the Golden Pots.
When both reels 1 and 2 have a wild symbol all Golden Pots on adjacent reels will be collected and paid. The Golden Pots have to form a winning combination. So if you have Golden Pots on reel 3 and 5, but not on reel 4, only the values from reel 3 will be awarded.
This feature is active in both the base game and during the free spins feature.
Free Spins Feature
When you get both wild symbols on reels 1 and 2 and the special bonus symbol on reel 3 you will trigger the free spins feature.
Before free spins start you go to a wheel where you will receive a minimum of 6 free spins. You can take the free spins or gamble for more spins. A maximum of 20 can be won, but you can also lose all free spins.
During free spins more wild and Golden Pot symbols appear on the reels.
If you retrigger the free spins you will receive 6 more free spins.

Verdict
I don’t know why this game was created. It’s the exact same game as the original, except for the addition of Megaways. But these don’t add anything special. And they didn’t even use the tumble feature a lot of Megaways slots use.
Don’t get me wrong. It’s a fun game, but so was the original. And they really didn’t do enough to make it better or different enough.
The only difference is the fact that you can now gamble your free spins and a bigger maximum payout.
