The Dog House Muttley Crew Overview
Pragmatic Play has already released several online slot games in their “The Dog House” series of games. From the original to a Megaways version and most recently The Dog House – Dog or Alive. And since the games are popular, they have now released The Dog House Muttley Crew. A cluster pays game in that same series.
Like all the other games, the familiar dogs and symbols are back. But now they have become pirates on a pirate ship. The reels are set on a deck and all dogs wear fun pirate hats.
The game uses 5 reels that are each 5 symbols high and uses cluster pays. Meaning that any combination of 5 or more of the same symbols, that are connected vertically and/or horizontally, count as as winning combination.
You will find low paying card symbols and medium to high paying dog stuff and of course the dogs themselves. There are also scatter symbols on all reels. And treasure chests count as the wild symbols and can also appear on all reels.
The Dog House Muttley Crew comes with a maximum payout of 7.500 times your bet and is a high volatile slot game.

Wild Multipliers
Wild symbols can appear on all reels and come with a random multiplier of x2, x3, x5 or x10. If more than one wild symbol appears in a winning cluster, the multipliers are added together.
Free Spins Feature
3, 4 or 5 scatter symbols will award 10, 15 and 20 free spins respectively.
During free spins all wild symbols become sticky wilds and will stay on the reels until the end of the bonus.
2, 3, 4 or 5 scatter symbols during free spins will award 5, 10, 20 and 30 extra free spins. Scatters appear as an overlay symbol on normal symbols during free spins.

You are able to buy the free spins feature for 100x, 250x and 500x bet to trigger 3, 4 and 5 scatters respectively.
Verdict
The Dog House Muttley Crew seems to be the most closely connected to the original game. But with added Cluster Pays instead of paylines.
Which I don’t mind at all. I still think the original is the best one, so I am happy they didn’t make too many changes.
It’s a fun, solid game that can award some great wins, especially during free spins.
