Pragmatic Play has released a new slot game called Sleeping Dragon.
A game with a giant dragon protecting gold and gems above the reels and knights and maidens on the reels.
The game uses 3 reels which are each 5 symbols high and uses 25 paylines.
Besides low paying card symbols and medium to high paying royal themed symbols, you will also find stacked wild symbols on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5. Scatter symbols, which are a red dragon’s head, appear on all reels. And lastly there are golden coins, which can also appear stacked on all reels.
Sleeping Dragon comes with a pretty big maximum payout of 25.000 times your bet and is a high volatile game.

Re-spin Feature
Coins can appear on all reels and come with a value of between 1 and 80 times bet, or one of the jackpots noted above the reels.
Hit 6 or more coins and you will trigger the re-spin bonus. It can also trigger when at least 1 coin lands on the reels and the dragon wakes up, which will make him add 5 more coins to the reels.
You are awarded with 3 re-spins and only coins and blank spots appear. All coins are held and each new coin will reset the re-spins back to 3.
The feature ends when you run out of re-spins or fill the entire screen. Filling the entire screen will award an extra 7.000 times bet reward.
Free Spins Feature
3, 4 or 5 scatter symbols will award 6, 9 and 50 free spins respectively.
During free spins, the middle three reels will become one colossal symbol that spins.
If you get the scatter symbol as a colossal symbol, you will get 3 extra free spins. When you get a colossal coin, you will trigger the Re-spin Feature.
Also, at random, when you get no win during a spin, the dragon might add a colossal coin on the middle reels, triggering the re-spin feature.

Both the re-spin feature and the free spins feature can be bought for 100 times your bet.
Verdict
Sleeping Dragon is a very basic game that we have seen many, many times before.
It’s one of those standard slots with a free spins feature with colossal symbols in the middle and a Hold & Re-Spin bonus. And that’s about it.
There isn’t really anything new or interesting about this game. Except maybe the fact that the dragon can trigger the Re-spin feature at random during the base game and during free spins.
I mean, if you really like these games, here’s another theme. For me it’s a pass, it’s just not interesting enough and just another copy of other slots.
