The Dog House Multihold Overview
Back in 2019 Pragmatic Play released a game called The Dog House. Which instantly became one of their more popular titles. So no wonder they released The Dog House Megaways a year later.
And now they have released another version, The Dog House Multihold.
A lot of the basics on this new version have stayed the same. In fact the base game is exactly the same as the original.
You will find 5 reels that are each 3 symbols high and 20 paylines.
Besides standard card symbols you will also find different dog toys and dogs on all the reels. Wild symbols only appears on reels 2, 3 and 4 and bonus symbols only appear on reels 1, 3 and 5.
The Dog House Multihold comes with a maximum payout of 9.000 times your bet. Which is higher than the original, but lower than the Megaways version.

Wild Symbols
Like I mentioned above. Wild symbols only appear on reels 2, 3 and 4. In both the base game and during free spins.
Any wild symbol appearing will come with a random multiplier of x2 or x3. And if more than one multipliers appear in a winning combination, they are added up together.
Free Spins Feature
Getting all three bonus symbols at the same time will award 7 free spins.
Free spins are played on a grid with 4 separate reel sets. But only the first reel set is opened up at the start.
Each time you collect 3 bonus symbols, which can now appear on all reels, a new reel set opens up and you are awarded with between 1 and 3 extra free spins.
Wild symbols become sticky wilds during free spins. But they are only sticky on the reel set that is last opened (or the first reel set at the start). And when you open up a new reel set, the sticky wild symbols from the last reel set are transferred onto the new reel set. But all sticky wilds on the earlier reel sets will stay in place, you just cannot get more on those reel sets.
Bonus symbols only appear on the last opened reel set. Once all four reel sets are opened, no more extra free spins can be won.

Verdict
The Dog House Multihold is exactly the same as the original game during the base spins. With some very small changes to payouts of certain symbols.
But during the free spins feature it takes it to a whole new level. I really like the 4 reel sets. It’s fun to open them up and get extra free spins. But also the fact that collected sticky wilds are placed onto the new reel set. Meaning that if you collect a couple before opening a new set of reels, you are setting yourself up for some great wins, that can only get better.
I was already a big fan of both The Dog House and The Dog House Megaways. And was not sure if they were able to create a third one that would appeal to me. But Pragmatic Play doesn’t disappoint with this third addition into the series. And picking a favorite isn’t something I can tell you.
