There’s a new online slot from Pragmatic Play available called Viking Forge.

The game uses 6 reels that are each 5 symbols high and uses a scatter pays mechanism. 8 or more of the same symbols, anywhere on screen, count as winning combination.
You will find low paying card symbols and medium to high paying forged weapons and tools. And of course a Viking as the highest paying symbol. There are no wild symbols on this game. There are bonus symbols, which can appear on all reels.
This game also uses tumbling reels, or a tumble feature. Meaning that winning symbols are removed from the reels and the remaining symbols fall down, new symbols are then added to the top of the reels, creating the option for several wins within the same spin.

Coin Collection
On any normal symbol, at random, small coin might appear with a value of between 0,1 to 20 or a multiplier of x2, x3, x5 or x10.
If a symbol with a coin is part of a winning combination, the coin value is collected and added to a meter on top of the reels. Multiplier values will multiply the meter.
After all tumbles are done you are awarded with the total multiplier on the meter times your bet.
Free Spins Feature
4, 5 and 6 bonus symbols will trigger 10, 20 and 30 free spins respectively.
During free spins, you will still collect all coins, as mentioned above, but they won’t reset between spins. You will accumulate them until the end of the free spins feature and the total number collected is then multiplier by your bet.
3 or more bonus symbols during free spins will add 5 more free spins.
Bonus Buy
Some casinos offer the option to buy the bonus for 100 times bet. This will award a minimum of 4 bonus symbols.
Verdict
Of course it’s another one of those scatter pays slots with tumbles. Because we know Pragmatic Play loves to release those. And their good at it. They have some of the best ones.
This one comes with a collection bonus that is a little different. A lot of times you collect multipliers that multiply your win. This one multiplies your bet.
During the base game, you won’t see a lot of big wins because of those coins. But during free spins, where it doesn’t reset, especially if you manage to collect some of those multipliers, it can accumulate to a nice big figure. And with a 10.000 times maximum win, can award some big rewards.
Overall it’s a good game that feels very familiar, but does manage to add something slightly different.
