Big Bam-Book Overview
Push Gaming released a new online slot game called Big Bam-Book. And no, this isn’t another “Book of” slot game, as the name might suggest. At least not in the traditional sense. This games offer more than that and doesn’t really feel like a “Book of” slot.
Big Bam-Book comes with an Asian theme that looks and feels a lot like Kung Fu Panda to be honest. You’ve got temples, different animals and of course bamboo.
The game uses 5 reels that are each 3 symbols high and comes with 10 paylines.
Besides low paying suits symbols, you will also medium paying weapons and high paying animal symbols. Then there are wild symbols which can appear on all reels and scatter symbols, which are books, also appear on all reels. Lastly we have bamboo symbols, which are mystery symbols when 3 or more of them land, but more on that below.
Big Bam-Book comes with a big maximum win of 10.000 times bet and is a high volatile slot game.
Features
Mystery Bamboo
Both during the base game and during free spins, when you land 3 or more bamboo symbols, these symbols will expand to cover the entire reel.
These reels will then reveal one and the same normal paying symbol or a wild. But the bamboo may also turn gold. When this happens each spot will show a coin that is worth between x1 and x100 times bet and are added together and paid after they all landed.
Free Spins Feature
3 or more scatter symbols will award the free spins feature which comes with 4 different levels.
When you get 3 scatters, you start on level zero with 8 free spins, 4 scatters will start you on level 1 with 12 free spins and 5 scatters will award 15 free spins where you start on level 2.
During free spins, each scatter symbol is collected into a meter and each time you have collected 4, you will move to the next level.
- Level 1 – 5 extra free spins and a 2x multiplier
- Level 2 – 5 extra free spins and a 3x multiplier
- Level 3 – 5 extra free spins and a 5x multiplier
- Level 4 – 5 extra free spins and a 10x multiplier
The multipliers only apply to wins from the Golden Mystery Bamboo symbols.
During free spins, all normal symbol reveals will pay. no matter where on the reels, just like a normal “Book of” slot.

You are able to buy the free spins feature for 63,6, 138,2 and 100 times your bet. This will award 3, 4 and 5 scatter symbols respectively.

Verdict
Big Bam-Book is a very nice game!
It looks great, I really like the theme. But it also comes with some very fun features.
Of course the bamboo is a nice touch, especially since they added those coins that can also appear.
And during free spins you do see the “Book of” mechanism. But somehow this game feels different than normal “Book of” games and it didn’t really register as one of those games.
Overall another great Push Gaming slot game that I would make sure to give a try.
