Bounty Hunter – Overview
Pragmatic Play released a new slot game with a Western theme called Bounty Hunter.
Of course this is one of those themes we’ve seen many times before. A bounty hunter and some outlaws within a western town. But Pragmatic Play was able to make it a fun and bright looking game. Where the reels are set within a wagon and all outlaws come with a gun and a big smile, so does the bounty hunter.
The game uses 5 reels that are 3 symbols high and comes with 20 paylines.
Besides low paying weapons and other items you will also find high paying outlaws. All these symbols can appear stacked on all reels. Besides this there are also scatter symbols on all reels. Lastly there is a special collector symbol that can appear on reel 1 and a special multiplier symbol that can appear on reel 5. The game doesn’t come with wilds.
Bounty Hunter comes with a nice maximum payout of 10.000 times your bet and is a high volatile slot game.
Features
Collector Symbol
The collector symbol can only appear on the first reel and is the bounty hunter of the game. When it appears it will expand to cover the entire reel and start shooting any outlaw symbols on the other reels.
These outlaw symbols come with a cash value of between x0,5 and x100 times bet. Each time the bounty hunter wins a duel with an outlaw, it will collect it’s value and a multiplier will go up by x1 for the next outlaw.
Multiplier Symbol
On reel 5 a special multiplier symbol can appear which comes with a value of x10 to x100. If both the Collector and the Multiplier are on the reels, there will first be a duel between these symbols. If you win, all outlaws that you collect will come with the multiplier of the multiplier symbol, but won’t increase between wins.
Free Spins Feature
3, 4 or 5 scatter symbols will award 8, 12 and 16 free spins respectively.
During free spins the multipliers from winning duels will not reset between free spins and can only go up to a maximum of x100.
3, 4 or 5 scatter symbols during free spins will add 8, 12 and 16 extra free spins respectively.
Bonus Buy
For 80 times your bet you are able to buy free spins, which will award 3, 4 or 5 scatter symbols. For 500 times bet you are able to buy Super Free Spins, which will award 3, 4 of 5 scatter symbols and during these spins the collector symbol stays on reel 1 for all spins.
Verdict
Bounty Hunter is a fun game that uses the collection feature we’ve seen a lot already, but in an interesting new way. With the duels and the increasing multipliers and the fact that you can also get that instant multiplier symbol on reel 5.
I think a lot of players that might be done with the collection bonuses, might like this one. So I would definitely give it a try.
It’s also a fun theme that works well with the mechanisms. And a pretty big maximum payout of 10.000 times bet.
