NetEnt has released a new online slot game called Flock Me.
Where the theme revolves around several criminal birds locked in a prison. Even though there doesn’t seem to be a roof on that prison yard, so there’s that. Of course it’s a bit tongue and cheek with this theme. The reels are set against a high prison wall with barbed wire.
The game uses 6 reels which are each 7 symbols and comes with a cluster pays mechanism. 5 or more of the same symbols that are horizontally and/or vertically connected count as winning combination.
Besides low paying items like a bar of soap and toilet paper, there are also medium to high paying bird symbols. There are also wild symbols, scatter symbols and two special symbols that trigger a feature. Symbols can not only appear as single symbols, but also as colossal 2×2 symbols, which count as 4 symbols when appearing.
Flock Me comes with a nice maximum payout of 8.594 times your bet and is a medium to high volatile slot game.
Features
There are a lot of different moving parts and features on Flock Me. So here they are.
Avalanches
Winning combinations are removed from the reels and all remaining symbols fall down into the empty spots. New symbols than fall on top, creating another chance for winning combinations. This keeps occurring until no more winning combinations appear.
Multiplier Wilds
Each time a wild symbol is part of a winning combination, after the winning symbols are removed, the wild symbol will move to an adjacent spot and receives a x1 multiplier, with no limit.
A wild can also move to a colossal symbol, which will turn it into a 2×2 wild symbols, but when it moves to a normal symbol, it will become a single wild again.
When more than one multiplier wild is part of a winning combination, they multiply each other.
Cross Wilds
When a Cross Wild symbol is part of a winning cluster it will activate. It will make a horizontal, diagonal or both cross and all symbols on those reels will turn into one and the same matching symbol. If more than one Cross Wild appears, any spots that overlap will turn wild.
Flock Me Feature
This feature is triggered when a Flock Me symbol is on the reels and all winning avalanches are done. All wilds on the reels will move somewhere adjacent to the Flock Me symbol and the Flock Me symbol itself will also turn wild. An extra multiplier wild is also added next to the Flock Me symbol and the spots where the original wilds where will become one time use wilds.
Clean Me Feature
When a toilet symbol is on the reels and there are no more winning combinations, all symbols except wilds scatters and Flock Me symbols are removed and new symbols will fill the reels.
Free Spins Feature
3 scatter symbols will award 5 free spins. Any wilds that where already on the reels before triggering the bonus will move over to the free spins feature. And all wilds will stay on the reels until the end of the feature and keep walking and getting a +1 multiplier each time they are part of a win. 3 scatters during free spins will add 2 more free spins.
Bonus Buys
Flock Me and a special Super Flock Me feature can be bought for 20 times and 50 times bet. Free Spins and Super Free Spins can be bought for 100 times and 250 times bet.
