The game uses 5 reels which are each 4 symbols high and comes with 100 paylines.
Besides low paying football items and high paying football players, you will also find wild symbols on all reels. All normal paying symbols appear stacked on all reels. There are also scatter symbols, which don’t appear stacked and also don’t trigger any bonus. They just act as another pay symbol.
Then we also have blue, red and green balls that can appear on top of normal symbols. These correspond with the three footballs on top.

Free Spins Feature
Like I mentioned above there are three different colored balls that can appear on top of normal symbols and are collected into the “pots” above. Any time one or more of these are collected, it can randomly trigger the free spins feature with 1, 2 or all 3 footballs activated.
You are awarded with 3 re-spins. During these spins only normal coins with a cash value and special coins, corresponding with the three colors, can appear.
All coins are held and each time a new coin hits, the re-spins are reset back to 3.
Depending on what football is active, it will add modifiers during the re-spins.
- Red – will increase the reels from the normal 4 symbols high to 4, 5, 6, 5 and 4 symbols high and will also add a jackpot to each reel. If you manage to fill a reel with coins, you will be awarded the jackpot of that reel
- Blue – Can award a blue coin that acts as a collector. This coin will take the value of all normal coins on the reels
- Green – Is a boost symbol, the value of this coin is added to all other coins on the reels
Free spins keep going until you run out or if you fill the entire reels with coins. Filling all spots will award the 2.000x jackpot.
Bonus Buy
You are able to buy free spins. And have the option to buy one, two or all three modifiers for between 73x and 179x bet. You can pick which ones you want active.
Verdict
Football 2026 is a pretty decent slot game. Of course it’s another one of those 3-pot slot games. But I like the bonus feature.
Especially when the red modifier is active, because you can win those extra jackpots. And to be honest, they seem to hit pretty regularly.
Overall it’s not the most innovating or impressive slot game. But it’s enjoyable and if you want to get into the football spirit, a nice choice.
