Time for a new Play’n Go release. And this time the game revolves around several cute looking dogs and is called Hot Dog Heist.
Several dogs are trying to steal hot dogs from a barbecue. The reels are set against a garden with a pool and barbecue, pick a picketed fence in front of it. A very colorful looking game.
The game uses 5 reels which are each 4 symbols high and comes with 40 paylines.
Besides low paying card symbols there are also high paying dogs like a bulldog and a golden retriever. The there are wild symbols on all reels and scatter symbols on reels 1, 3 and 5.
Hot Dog Heist comes with a maximum payout of 2.500 times your bet and is a low to medium volatile slot game.

Scatter symbols appear on reels 1, 3 and 5 and when all three appear you will trigger the bonus feature.
A wheel will spin and land on one of 7 spots and will award a specific feature.

Verdict
I have to say, I’m happy Play’n Go released this game and here is why.
This isn’t some extreme slot game with a bunch of special features and bonuses that are very innovating. This is a pretty basic game, even though it has 7 different features to win. All features are pretty well-known and have been used several times before.
I like this game because it’s a low to medium volatile slot game. And because it uses a lot of features, which by the way seem to trigger quite often.
These days I am always a bit worried for casual slot players. People who like to deposit a small amount, once in a while and just play a little, for enjoyment, not expecting massive amounts, but just some fun and maybe a small win. That’s almost impossible these days. I notice it myself, a €100,- deposit can be gone in less than 20 minutes, not even playing on high bets. Why? because more and more games are very highly volatile.
Hot Dog Heist is a medium volatile game, has enough fun features and won’t deplete your bankroll in minutes. It’s the perfect game for new and casual slot players. So kudos to Play’n Go.
