House of Doom is an online slot game by Play’n Go that was released a couple of years back.
Although I personally really like the game, it wasn’t a big hit. But somehow they have now released House of Doom 2 – The Crypt.
In many ways it feels like the same game, but with some more and other features.
House of Doom 2 comes with 20 lines on 5 reels, each 3 symbols high. It features several different wild symbols on all reels and scatter symbols on reels 1, 3 and 5. And theme is, again, a metal rock type theme.
House of Doom 2 comes with several different bonus features.
During the base game, a random reel can become a Spirit Gate. If a wild symbol lands on that reel it will expand and trigger a free re-spin. Which wild lands determines the active bonus during this re-spin.
- Queen of the Damned – all reels become Spirit Gates
- Fire Mistress – a random multiplier of x2, x3, x5, or x10 is active during the re-spin
- Metal Priestess – all high paying symbols will become the highest paying symbol
Free Spins Feature
Getting three scatter symbols on reels 1, 3, and 5 will trigger 8 free spins. During free spins more than one random Spirit Gate can become active, increasing the chances for a re-spin bonus.
When you re-trigger the bonus with special upgraded scatter symbols you will be awarded 8 more free spins. But now all wild bonuses are active at the same time. So all reels will have Spirit Gates, all symbols will be upgraded and a random multiplier is active. You can even trigger more free spins during these special free spins bonus.
Like I mention in the beginning, House of Doom isn’t one of Play’n Go’s most popular slot games, so why they made a sequel, no idea? But it is a nice game with some cool features that still keeps the feel of the original. So make sure to give this one a try at Casumo.
