Invading Vegas Overview
Play’n Go has released a new online slot game called Invading Vegas.
The game uses a 50’s theme where aliens invade Las Vegas. A lot like the movie Mars Attacks! with a huge cast of famous actors. Somehow the 50’s, Vegas and aliens works as a theme.
The game uses 5 reels that are each 3 symbols high and comes with 20 lines.
Besides 4 different casino chips with the 4 suits on them you will also find different characters fitting the Las Vegas theme. And also aliens as wild symbols. All these symbols can appear on all reels. Last we have a scatter symbol, an alien spaceship, which can appear on all reels.
Invading Vegas comes with a maximum payout of 1.000 times bet. Which is very low, even for a medium volatile slot game.
Invading Vegas Features
Lock on Re-spin
Whenever the 1st and 2nd reels show the exact same symbols and you don’t have a winning combination, you will trigger a respin. Reels 1, 2, 4 and 5 are held and reel 3 will respin.
When the Lick on Re-spin feature is triggered a stacked wild symbol can appear on reel 3. When this happens the wild symbol will become a walking wild and will move one reel to the right after each spin, until it reached the final reel.
Scatter symbols don’t appear during this feature.
Free Spins Feature
3 or more scatter symbols will trigger 12 free spins.
During free spins walking wilds will move to the left instead of the right. And during free spins the high paying symbols appear more often and more stacked.
For me this game is a miss.
The theme is a lot of fun and also done in a nice way. But that’s it for me.
Don’t get me wrong, the bonuses are ok, but because of that very low maximum payout, never really exciting.
And the free spins, although changing the direction of the walking wild and more stacked symbols, is also boring.
Play’n Go is one of the best providers. And almost all their games are fun and exciting. Invading Vegas isn’t.
The only positive is the fact that the game is medium volatile, so a good game to wager your bonuses.
