Play’n Go has released a game called Invading Vegas back in 2023 and even added a Christmas version of the same game. Now they have a follow-up called Invading Vegas – Revenge on Mars.
Which uses the same 50’s theme where aliens invaded Las Vegas, but now we take revenge.
The game uses 5 reels that are each 3 symbols high and comes with 20 lines.
Besides 4 different casino chips with the 4 suits on them you will also find different alien characters. There are also wild symbols on all reels. All paying symbols can appear stacked on all reels. Only scatter symbols, which also appear on all reels, only appear single.
Invading Vegas – Revenge on Mars comes with a low maximum payout of 2.500 times bet and is a medium volatile slot game.
Vegas Features
Walking Wild
When both reel 1 and 2 or reels 4 and 5 show the same symbols, but don’t award a win, the walking wild feature is triggered.
Reel 3 becomes a wild reel and will pay any possible combinations. Then the wild will walk either a reel to the left, or right and you get 3 re-spins, until the wild walks of the reels.
When the wild is walking, it will leave behind between 3 and 12 mystery symbols, which will all change into one and the same symbols.
Mystery symbols have a higher chance to chance into the most present symbols on the reels. Also when mystery symbols become wild symbols, there is a chance they come with a random multiplier of between x2 and x10.
Free Spins Feature
3 scatter symbols will award 12 free spins.
3 scatter symbols during free spins will add 12 more free spins, up to a maximum of 120.
The Walking Wild feature can also appear during free spins.
Verdict
I don’t understand why the original game, which I didn’t like, got a follow-up. Because this new version seems to be just as boring, in my opinion.
It adds some small changes, including those multiplier wilds. But I haven’t seen them, after playing a lot of spins.
Also all mechanisms seem a bit basic, done too often and not that interesting. And free spins doesn’t really come with something extra or special even. Which makes free spins, very boring.
I am skipping this one, I’m not a fan and I hope this series ends here.
