Jade Legends – Overview
Pragmatic Play has released a new online slot game called Jade Legends.
A game with a very nice looking Asian theme revolving around dragons, palaces and a warrior. The game uses a lot of yellow and white and of course jade colors. Which makes for a really sleek looking game.
You will find 7 reels which are each 7 symbols high and the game uses a cluster pays mechanism. Clusters of 5 or more of the same symbols, which are horizontally and/or vertically connected, count as a winning combination.
You will also find cascading symbols. The game will remove the winning cluster and also all corresponding symbols anywhere else on the reels. Then the rest of the symbols fall down into empty spots and new symbols are added on top. Creating another option for a winning cluster. This keeps happening and no new win appears.
Besides low paying gem symbols and medium to high paying Asian themed items, you will also find wild symbols. Then we have scatter symbols, which can appear on all reels. Lastly there are golden and jade dragon symbols that can also appear, but only one at a time. More on those below.

Features
Coin Collect Feature
When a winning cluster is removed, the spots where the symbols where will receive a highlight. Another winning cluster on the same spots will add a x1 multiplier each time it happens.
When a Golden Dragon symbol appears, after all winning clusters are paid, all those highlighted spots will turn into coins with a cash value of between 0,5 and 500x bet. Special pot symbols can also appear. These pots will collect all values of all coins and then all coins will receive a new random cash value.
The value of any coin or pot is multiplied by the multiplier active on the spot.
Highlighted spots are removed at the beginning of every new spin during base spins.
Free Spins Features
When you get 4 or more scatter symbols you will trigger the free spins feature. During free spins you can now also get a Jade Dragon as well as the normal Golden Dragon. Depending on how many scatters you get, determines the feature.
- 4 scatters award 8 free spins – Highlighted spots stay on the reels until the end of the feature, or when a Golden Dragon appears activating the Coin Collect Feature. If a Jade Dragon appears you will still get the Coin Collect Feature, but the spots don’t reset after and the spots will stay active. 3 or more scatters during free spins will upgrade the feature to Enhanced Free Spins and add 4 extra free spins.

- 6 scatters award 12 Super free spins – Only Jade Dragons can appear and multipliers on highlighted spots will double each time a new win occurs on them. 3 or more scatters during Super Free Spins will upgrade the feature to Ultra Free Spins and adds 4 extra free spins.
- 7 scatters award 14 Ultra free spins – Only Jade Dragons can appear and a Jade Dragon is guaranteed to land during each spin. 3 or more scatters during Ultra Free Spins will add 4 more extra free spins.

Verdict
Jade Legends instantly feels like a Pragmatic Play slot game. They have mastered cluster pays and scatter pays slots and this one is another great addition.
Especially the more upgraded free spins features are great, since the spots don’t reset, multipliers can go up pretty fast and when dragons land, you can get some massive wins.
While Pragmatic Play isn’t offering anything really new or extremely innovating. All mechanisms and bonuses work very well together and the game looks amazing.
