Play’n Go has released a new online slot game called Kingdom Below. And it seems they mean hell as the kingdom, because it’s nothing but fire and lava and a small, pretty cute, little devil above the reels.
The game uses 5 reels that are each 4 symbols high and comes with a strange number of 12 paylines.
Besides low paying card symbols you will also find medium to high paying symbols like crowns, swords and tridents. Then there are special Grab Symbols and lastly scatter symbols can appear on all reels. There are no wild symbols on this game.
Kingdom Below comes with a maximum payout of 6.000 times your bet and is a medium to high volatile slot game.

Grab Feature
Grab Prizes comes with values of between 1 and 50 times bet.
Above the reels you will see the little devil flying around. At any point it can become active and do one of the following things:
- Grab Feature – collects all prizes on the reel beneath the devil
- Slide n Grab – collects all prizes on all reels and will multiply it by the number of reels prizes are collected from
- Under Reel – collects a mystery grab prize pulled from below the reel. It can be a grab prize, a non win or in free spins, a scatter that makes your progress further on the trail
Free Spins Feature
3 or more scatter symbols will award 10 free spins.
Before free spins strat you get to pick a fire symbol to reveal a Modifier, or Upgraded Modifier.
Modifiers can be:
- 5 extra free spins
- More Grab Feature triggers
- More Slide ‘n Grab Feature triggers
- More Grab symbols on the reels
- Lowest paying symbol is removed
- At least 1 grab symbol appears on every free spin
- Wins are not guaranteed
- Grab multiplier increases to x2
- 1 random grab symbol is sticky for 1 spin
Upgraded multiplier can be:
- 10 extra free spins
- More Grab Feature triggers at x2
- More Slide ‘n Grab Feature triggers at x2
- More grab symbols on the reels and the 2 lowest paying grab symbols are removed
- The 3 lowest paying symbols are removed
- At least 3 grab symbols on every free spin
- Wins are not guaranteed
- Grab multiplier increases to x5
- Up to 2 random grab symbols are sticky for 1 spin
A total of 4 modifiers can be active during free spins, but never the same as a normal and upgraded at the same time.
There is also a trail above the reels. If a scatter appears on a reel during a Slide ‘n Grab or Under the Reel collection, it is added to the trail.
Reaching 2, 6 and 10 scatters, spots on the trail, will award an extra pick, to get an extra modifier. Reaching 4, 8 and 12 scatters, spots on the trail, will add 10 more free spins.
Once the trail is done, no more free spins can be won. The maximum number of free spins is 50.
Verdict
Kingdom Below is a pretty fun game. It doesn’t really use anything new, but it combines a couple of popular features into a single game.
The collection bonus can activate during any normal spin and is more increased during free spins because of the modifiers.
It’s maybe not the most innovating slot game, but Kingdom Below works very well and also looks nice. So definitely worth a try.
