Pragmatic Play has released a new online slot game with a rocket, space theme called Launch to Riches.
It’s one of those slots that somehow looks familiar, because there are more of these rocket types slots, even from Pragmatic Play themselves, like Rocket Blast Megaways.
The game uses 5 reels that are each 4 symbols high and comes with 1024 ways instead of paylines.
Besides low paying card symbols and medium to high paying gems and space themed symbols, you will also find wild and scatter symbols on all reels. Lastly there are rocket symbols, or collect symbols as they call them, which can also appear on all reels.
Launch to Riches comes with a maximum payout of 5.000 times your bet and is a low volatile slot game. Which are more are these days.
Features
Rocket Feature
When one or more rocket/collect symbols appear, a grid of 5×4 asteroids will appear. These asteroids will have money values. But the top row can also have higher paying bonus amounts.
Rockets will then shoot off and collect the values. There are three types of rockets:
- Regular – fires a rocket straight up and collects the first asteroid it hits
- Triple – fires 3 rockets at random asteroids to collect
- Super – fires in a straight line on the column above it to collect a random number of asteroids
Asteroids can also reveal bombs which award all adjacent asteroids.
Values on asteroids can be between 0,5 and 12,5 times bet, while the bonus ones, the higher ones, can go up to 5.000 times bet or they can reveal 3 scatter symbols.
Free Spins Feature
3 scatter symbols will award 10 free spins and 2 more free spins for every scatter after that.
Free spins are played with 1 reel of symbols below a grid of asteroids which are 5×7 big.
The row spins and only normal symbols or rockets land. Only rockets will award wins. If you clear the entire field of asteroids, you will also receive a random multiplier of up to x10.
You can’t win extra free spins.
Bonus Buys
For 100x bet you can buy free spins. For 300x bet you can buy super free spins, which guarantees rockets landing on every spin.
Verdict
I think this is a pretty fun game. I like the 1024 ways but also those rockets awarding instant wins.
Of course it’s a pretty common collection bonus slot game, but they switched it up a bit with the rockets, which makes it more unique.
So overall I think it’s a fun game.
