In 2022 Big Time Gaming released a game called Max Megaways and a year later the sequel, Max Megaways 2. Now almost 2 years after that we get their third installment, Max Megaways 3.
All these games revolve around a secret agent called Max. And where the first one played on a secret island and the second one played out in space, this this game now visits a snowy landscape.
The game has 6 reels that are between 2 and 7 symbols high during each spin. This setup can give a maximum of 117.649 ways per spin. There is also a coin dozer on top of the reels, more on that later.
You will find standard card symbols, and different battery type symbols, the purple ones always being the highest paying ones. There are also wild symbols, which only appear on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5. Finally you have scatter symbols which are suitcases that can only appear on reels 1 and 6. And a suitcase can contain gold, which are the normal scatters, or a diamond, which is the special scatter.

Winning combinations are removed from the reels and all symbols fall down. New symbols fall on top. After this you can get another winning combination and the process keeps repeating until no new winning combinations appear.

Above the reels you will find a coin dozer. During any spin, one or more coins might be dropped in. When one or more of these coins drop onto the reels they will award a bonus.
- The general multiplier is increased by x1 per coin, all wins within the same bought spin are multiplied

Verdict
Max Megaways 3 is a natural continuation of the earlier titles. And Big Time Gaming has now added their Coin Dozer mechanism. Which works well.
But I do think that this dozer is something not all players will enjoy. It’s a pretty specific mechanism and, to be honest, can sometimes get a little frustrating.
But overall Max Megaways 3 is an amazing game with huge win potential. Even though it’s the lowest from the three, over 100.000 times bet is still massive of course.
I am wondering how long they are going to continue with this series, but for now, I am still interested and excited.
