Thunderkick has released a new online slot game called MeJUICEa.
When I first read the title, I was like, what a weird name, I don’t get it. But then I realized it’s a funny take on the word Medusa. Which also makes sense, since she is standing next to the reels. But because it features a lot of juicy fruit, the named it MeJUICEa.
The game is very colorful and really pops on the screen, which we can expect from a provider like Thunderkick.
MeJUICEa comes with 5 reels that are each 6 symbols high and comes with a cluster pays mechanism. Five or more of the same symbols, horizontally and/or vertically connected, count as a winning combination.
For symbols you will find all sorts of fruits like cherries and watermelons. Then there are also multiplier symbols and scatter symbols. And wild symbols can also appear on all reels.
MeJUICEa comes with a maximum payout of 5.000 times your bet and is a medium to high volatile slot game.
Features
Crush Feature
Each winning combination and/or scatter symbol that appears on the reels will change into stone. All those symbols will then fall down and crush all symbols below the symbols. After all winning and crushed symbols are removed, all other symbols fall down and new symbols fall on top of the reels, creating the option for another win and more crushes.
Multiplier
The game has a general multiplier of x1. As symbols, multiplier symbols can appear with a range of between x1 and x50. These multipliers are collected when they are crushed, increasing the general multiplier. The maximum the multiplier can reach is x999.
Before each new spin, in the base game, the multiplier is reset back to x1.
Charge Meter
Each symbol that is crushed will fill a meter on the right of the reels. This meter comes with 30 steps to fill. And can be filled a total of 5 times in one base or free spin.
After no more winning combinations appear, if you have at least 1 full meter, each meter will be a random wild that will then be added to the reels.
Free Spins Feature
Collecting 3 scatter symbols during a base spin will award 10 free spins.
During free spins the general multiplier won’t be reset between spins and can only go up. The charge meter will also not reset between spins.
Each scatter appearing during free spins will add 1 more free spin.
Bonus Buy
For 75 times your bet you are able to buy the free spins feature.
Verdict
Overall I think Thunderkick released a very nice looking, great playable game with MeJUICEa. I might have went with another name, but that’s only a small little complaint for me.
The game looks great and keeps being interesting, even during base spins because of those crushes, increasing multiplier and random wilds.
And it gets more interesting during free spins because there are no resets.
Again, a solid new title, definitely worth a try.
