Pragmatic Play has released a new Megaways slot game called Bandit Megaways.
As the name might suggest, it’s a western themed slot game with bandits and sheriffs, a pretty common theme for slot games.
You will find 6 reels that are each between 2 and 7 symbols high during each spin. And above reels 2, 3, 4 and 5 an extra row of symbols. This setup is pretty standard for most Megaways slots and can award up to 117.649 Megaways per spin.
Winning combinations are removed from the reels and new symbols fall on top and/or slide into the top row. Creating the option for another win, within the same spin. This keeps continuing until no new winning combinations appears.
Besides low paying card symbols and medium to high paying character symbols, you will also find scatter symbols on all normal reels. Wild symbols aren’t present on this slot game.
Bandit Megaways comes with a maximum payout of 5.000 times your bet and is a high volatile slot game.
Features
Multiplier Feature
Multiplier symbols can land during any normal spin, free spin and tumble. Each multiplier symbol comes with a value of between x2 and x500.
The multiplier symbols will remain on the screen after all winning tumbles are done. After this all multiplier symbols are added together and the total multiplier is multiplied by the total win of the current spin.
Free Spins Feature
4, 5 and 6 scatter symbols will award 15, 20 and 25 free spins respectively.
During free spins, each time a Multiplier Symbol appears and is used on a win, the multipliers are added to a general multiplier. During all free spins, each time new multipliers land and a win happens, the global multiplier is added to the multipliers on screen and the general multiplier will grow.
3, 4, 5 and 6 scatter symbols during free spins will add 15, 20, 25 and 30 extra free spins.
Buy Bonuses
For 100 times your bet you can buy the free spins feature, this will award at least 4 scatter symbols. You are also able to buy Super Free Spins Feature, which will coast 500 times bet. But during Super Free Spins all multipliers have a minimum of x10.
Verdict
Bandit Megaways is in fact the same game as Gates of Olympus, but with the added Megaways and the Super Free Spins option.
Gates of Olympus is one of their more popular slot games, so no wonder they keep using the mechanism on more games.
And to be honest, it works well and I think Bandit Megaways is a solid title.
I would love to see something else than the western theme, I think it’s a bit overdone, but it does look good.
