Play’n Go released a new online slot game called Bull in a Rodeo. Which seems to be a follow-up on their other release, Bull in a China Shop.
The theme is a rodeo, but with bulls instead of horses. That’s all I can say. It’s a made up theme, but does look nice and funny.
This new game comes with 5 reels that are each 3 symbols high and uses 20 lines.
Besides all standard symbols like suits, boots and a hat you will also find bull symbols that count as wilds. And a closed gate symbol that can appear on reel 5. This symbol is needed to trigger the free spins feature.
Bull in a Rodeo comes with a maximum payout of 2.000 times your bet.

Bull Wilds
The game revolves around the bull symbols, which are the wild symbols.
When one or more of these bulls land, the bull will change into a happy, proud or angry bull. The mood he changes into determines what type of wild you will receive.
- Happy – Will add a random number of random wilds onto the reels
- Proud – Will become a wild reel and will add 1 or more wild reels
- Angry – Will become a x2 wild and will add more random wild to the reels

Getting the closed gate symbol on reel 5 and a bull symbol anywhere else will start the free spins feature.
You will be awarded with 10 free spins.
During free spins the bull symbol still appears and will still change into one of three moods and give the associated bonus. But you will now also always receive 3 extra random wilds onto the reels, each time the bull appears.
On the last spin it is possible that the feature will trigger 10 more free spins.
Verdict
I personally hate rodeos, bullfighting and everything related to using animals for amusement. But that’s me. But using it as a theme for a slot is fine. And also I like that they made the bull the main character.
This new game does feel a lot like the original Bull in a China Shop game. Which also used different wild symbols when a normal wild would appear.
It’s a pretty fun game because of all those wilds. And nice that they added some extra random wilds during free spins.
Bull in a Rodeo doesn’t have a big maximum win, only 2.000 times. Which I think could be a bit higher.
But overall it’s a fun game with enough bonuses and features to keep in interesting.
