Pragmatic Play has released another Asian themed 3-pot slot game called Caishen’s Cash Pot.
The game is exactly what you expect. An Asian themed game with a lot of standard symbols and three pots above the reels.
The game uses 5 reels which are each 3 symbols high and comes with 243 ways.
Besides low paying card symbols and medium to high paying Asian themed symbols and characters, you will also find wild symbols on reels 2, 3 and 4. Then here are coins that can appear on reels 1, 2, 3 and 4 and a special red envelope collect symbol on reel 5. Lastly there are a phoenix, dragon and tiger symbol, which can also land on all reels and correspond with the three pots on top.
Caishen’s Cash Pot comes with a maximum payout of 10.000 times your bet and is a medium volatile slot game.
Features
Collection Symbol
On reel 5 a red envelope can appear. When this symbol appear, any coins on reels 1, 2, 3 and/or 4 are instantly collected. Coins have a value of between 2x and 500x bet.
Free Spins Feature
Like I mentioned above there are three different animal symbols that are collected into the pots above. Any time one or more of these are collected, it can randomly trigger the free spins feature with 1, 2 or all 3 post activated.
You are awarded with 6 free spins.
During free spins all coins pay instantly and now also appear on reel 5. The collect symbols doesn’t appear.
The special modifiers are:
- Phoenix – Multipliers of x2 and x3 are layed over the spots on reels 1 and 2. These apply to any coins that land on them
- Dragon – Multipliers of x3, x5 and x3 are layed over the spots on reels 2, 3 and 4
- Tiger – Multipliers of x3 and x2 are layed over the spots on reels 4 and 5
During free spins the Phoenix, Dragon and Tiger still land and can activate a pot that isn’t already active. When this happens, you receive 3 extra free spins.
There is also a 4th pot active during free spins, the Fish. When this is activated, you also get 3 extra free spins, but it will also award between 3 and 6 random multipliers of between x2 and x5 to spots on the reels. These will multiply the already active multiplier on a spot.
Bonus Buy
For 100 times bet you can buy free spins with 1, 2 or all 3 pots active. For 400 times bet you can buy super free spins with all three pots active, guaranteed to trigger the Fish during free spins, which will apply multipliers to all 15 spots on the reels.
Verdict
Caishen’s Cash Pot is really nothing special, theme-wise. We’ve seen this theme a lot already and it really doesn’t stand out.
The mechanisms are again a 3-pot slot game, which is also something that is so popular right now that we see a new one almost every week.
To be honest, they have made it a little more interesting with the multipliers and that 4th pot during free spins. Which is nice.
But overall it’s just another one of those games that you have already played, seen or are already done with.
