Vending Machine Overview
Hacksaw Gaming has released a new online slot game called Vending Machine.
As you could have guessed, the theme is literally a vending machine. It comes with all pastel colors and feels a bit 80’s. The reels are a giant vending machine set against a wall with a bit of a bored girl on the right of it, leaning against it.
The game uses 5 reels that are each 5 symbols high and comes with 35 lines.
All regular symbols are some sort of candy or food, like for instance a lollipop, juice box, candy bar and can of soda. But the game also features a bucket of popcorn, which acts as the wild symbol. Besides these symbols you will also find FS, which are the scatter symbols. But also lightning bolts, which are used for a feature.
Vending Machine comes with a maximum payout of 5.000 times your bet and is a medium volatile slot.

Multiplier Lights
On the left of each row you will find a random multiplier of between x2 and 10. These multiplier are inactive at the start of each normal spin.
When you get one or more winning combinations, all winning symbols are removed from the reels and added to that multiplier. x1 for each symbol collected per reel.
If a Lightning Bolt symbol land on a row, it will activate the multiplier of the corresponding row.
When at least 1 symbol on an active row is used in a winning combination, the multiplier will come in play and will multiply the winning combination. When more than one row is active and used, the multipliers are added together.
You can also get special multiplier symbols, which will multiply a multiplier on a row by x2, or multiply all multipliers by x2.
When no new winning cascades appear during a spin, all is reset and multiplier lights are deactivated.
Remove and Cascade
On a non-winning spin, during both the base game and during free spins, it’s possible the girls hits the vending machine, removing random symbols and adding new symbols on top.

- 3 FS symbols will award limitless free spins. 3 rows with multipliers are already activated and the feature ends when no more active multipliers appear. Multiplier are deactivated when a skull symbol lands on that row.
- 4 FS symbols will award limitless free spins. 5 rows with multipliers are already activated and the feature ends when no more active multipliers appear. Multiplier are deactivated when a skull symbol lands on that row.

Verdict
Hacksaw Gaming picked a very nice theme for this new slot game. I can’t recall a lot, or any, vending machine themed games. And I think the theme is fun and works well with the features.
The features are also nice. But of course it’s best during free spins. 3 or 5 rows are already active and they stay active until those skulls land. Of course these can appear pretty fast, which is a bummer and won’t award a lot. But when the game is going, it’s a lot of fun. Especially when you have big active multipliers.
I also think it’s nice that it’s a medium volatile game. We shouldn’t see only high volatile games, I think.
