The reels seem to be set within Asgard and all familiar characters are available on the reels. To be honest, the theme doesn’t particularly stand out.

You will find 6 reels that are between 2 and 7 symbols high during each spin. And also a bottom row of symbols beneath reels 2, 3, 4 and 5. This setup can give up to a maximum of 117.649 Megaways per spin.

Winning combinations are removed from the reels and all symbols fall down. New symbols fall on top and/or slide down into the bottom row and can award another winning combination and the process keeps repeating until no new winning combinations appear.

Loki Super Symbol

A special Loki Super symbols can appear on the bottom row of symbols. When the symbol appears, all symbols above it will become wild and during the base game will change high paying character symbols into higher paying character symbols for the remainder of the bought spin.

Free Spins Features

Getting all 4 scatter symbols, spelling LOKI, will award 9 free spins. Any extra scatter symbol will add 3 more free spins, up to a maximum of 18. If less then 18 free spins are won, you are able to gamble them up to 18. But you can also lose all free spins.

During free spins each time the Loki Super Symbol appears, it will now also add 1 more free spins. But it will now also upgrade symbols starting from the lowest paying character up to the highest paying character. And the symbols will stay like that for the remainder of the spins. So after a couple of Loki Super Symbols, you will only have card symbols and the highest paying character symbol left.

During free spins there are extra special symbols that can now appear on reel 6. These symbols will add 1 or 2 free spins or will add a x1 or x2 multiplier. The multiplier is only active during the current free spins and will be removed for the next free spin.

Verdict

Revenge of Loki Megaways is a nice looking slot with some fun features.

But I do want to mention that I played quite some spins and the Super Loki Symbol seems to appear very rarely during normals spins. And also during free spins, if that Super Loki Symbol doesn’t appear, which it can, it’s a very boring, basic free spins feature.

If it does appear, it can become an amazing feature with high win potential. Especially with those added symbols that can award multipliers.

Most Megaways slots come with increasing multipliers that stay active. Again, be aware, this one doesn’t. Multipliers only apply to the current spins and are reset with each new spin. Which, for players that might have played a lot of Megaways slots, might be a little confusing.
