The game is set in a pirate theme with looking glasses, a compass and skulls. And of course a pirate captain.

Besides standard card symbols and all pirate themed symbols you will also find scatter symbols on all normal reels. Wild symbols can also appear, but only on the top row.

Cascading Symbols
Winning combinations are removed from the reels and all symbols fall down into the empty spots. New symbols than fall on top and/or are added to the top row, creating the option for another win.
Mystery Symbols
Mystery symbols are also present on this game. All of these symbols will change into one and the same symbol after the reels stopped spinning. They will not change into wilds or scatter symbols.
Max Megaways
This feature can trigger at random. This will award a spin with a guaranteed maximum of 117.649 Megaways.
Free Spins Feature
4 scatter symbols will award 12 free spins and every extra scatter symbol beyond will add 5 more free spins. Up to a maximum of 27 free spins.
During free spins a multiplier is active that starts at x1 and will increase by x1 after each cascade. This multiplier doesn’t reset between spins and has no limit.
Scatter symbols now only appear on the top row. And 3 or 4 of them during free spins will add 5 and 10 more free spins respectively.

Verdict
iSoftBet created some great Megaways slots since they received the license. And the games in their Twisted Tales series are also pretty cool.
But for me Tales of Silver Megaways is just a bit too basic. To be honest, this is a Megaways slot we’ve seen before, several times even.
The features aren’t anything new. And the free spins feature is the most standard, maybe even the classic, free spins feature.
This doens’t mean it’s a bad game. It isn’t. But it’s just a very basic game that has been done many times before.
Maybe the pirate theme will attract some players, I know it’s a popular theme. But if you’re looking for the next cool Megaways slot, Tales of Silver Megaways isn’t the game for you.
This is a good game, that uses all features that we know work and are popular. But it isn’t anything new.
