After a pirates theme and also a western theme, not we have a British theme. In the background a huge castle and the dogs dressed up as British royalty. A cute look.
The game uses 5 reels that are each 3 symbols high and comes with 20 paylines.
Besides standard card symbols you will also find different dogs in British attire on all the reels. Wild symbols, which are dog houses, only appear on reels 2, 3 and 4 and bonus symbols, which are paws, can only appear on reels 1, 3 and 5.

Wild Symbols
Like I mentioned above. Wild symbols only appear on reels 2, 3 and 4. In both the base game and during free spins.
Any wild symbol appearing will come with a random multiplier of x2 or x3. And if more than one multipliers appear in a winning combination, they are added up together.
Free Spins Feature
If you land the bonus symbols on reels 1, 3 and 5 at the same time, you will be awarded with the free spins feature.
Before free spins start, 9 small reels will spin to award you with 1, 2 or 3 free spins. Meaning that you win a minimum of 9 and a maximum of 27 free spins.
During free spins, all wild symbols will become sticky wilds and will stay on the reels until the end of the free spins. They will also still receive a x2 or x3 multiplier.
Bonus symbols don’t appear during free spins. So you can’t trigger more free spins.
Royal Free Spins
There is an option to buy Royal Free Spins. This feature works the same as the normal free spins, but wilds will now come with multipliers of x10 or x20.
Bonus Buy

Verdict
This Royal Hunt version is pretty much the same as the original The Dog House. Which is still a great game.
The only difference is the theme and the fact that you can buy those Royal Spins. It’s a shame you are only able to buy those and can’t trigger them during normal play. Because they are pretty expensive to buy.
But like I said, for the most part, it’s the same slot as the original. I was hoping for a little bit more, but it is what it is.
Overall it’s a fine game, definitely worth a try.
