NetEnt has released a new online slot game in their rock series.
After Guns N’ Roses, Jimmy Hendrix and Motörhead, we now have Ozzy Osbourne. Maybe the most famous of the bunch, if not for his music career, for his reality TV show, The Osbournes in the early 2000’s.
Ozzy Osbourne comes with 20 lines and wild symbols on all reels. Scatter symbols only appear on reels 1, 3 and 5. All normal symbols may appear stacked on all reels.
Bonus Bet
Ozzy Osbourne comes with the option to activate a bonus bet. This will be 2 times the normal bet (a €1,- bet becomes a €2,- bet).
If you activate the bonus bet bonus features will be increased a lot. More bonuses, more free spins features and more return to player.
Re-spins and free spins feature
If you get 2 scatter symbols on the reels you will trigger a free re-spin.
During this re-spin you will get an upgraded symbol. First a left spinner will determine the symbol, now the right spinner will determine the feature.
You can also get a scatter symbol on the right spinner, triggering the free spins feature. Or collect all three scatter symbols at the same time to trigger the free spins feature. You will be awarded with 4 free spins without the bonus bet activated and 5 free spins with the bonus bet activated.
During the free spins, each spin will have an upgraded symbol. Getting the scatter symbol during free spins will add 1 more free spin, up to a maximum of 7.
The upgraded featured during re-spin and free spins are:
- Coin Win – The chosen symbol will award a three-of-a-kind prize award for each symbol on-screen
- Symbol Multiplier – The chosen symbol will be multiplied by the random multiplier when a winning combination of these symbols appear
- Wild – The chosen symbol will become wild
- Upgrade – The chosen symbol will upgrade one place on the paytable
Verdict
I like the fact that NetEnt is still continuing with their rock band slot games. It’s been a while since the last release.
But to be honest, Ozzy Osbourne is not my favorite. I think the bonus bet is expensive and I do believe you need to activate it to get any decent wins. And even with the bonus bet activated re-spins can pay out nothing.
The free spins feature is fun, but again, only 4 or 5 free spins, so it’s over pretty quick.
Ozzy Osbourne does use original music, so fans will like this.
But for me overall, it’s a decent slot game I would play when I have some extra money to spend. But it would never be my first choice.
