Rings of Prosperity – Overview
Play’n Go released a new online slot game called Rings of Prosperity.
A game that comes with a pretty standard Asian theme with a dragon and different pots of gold. It’s a colorful game that really has a nice look to it.
The game uses 5 reels which are each 3 symbols high and uses 243 ways instead of paylines.
Besides low paying card symbols and medium to high paying pots and gold, you will also find wild symbols on all reels. Scatter symbols, which are dragons, appear on all reels. And on reel 3 a special bonus symbol can land.
Rings of Prosperity comes with a maximum payout of 5.000 times your bet and is a medium volatile slot game.
Features
Pot Respins
If the special bonus symbol lands on the middle reel, the wheel on top will spin. If this wheel lands on either the green, red or purple pot, Pot Respins are triggered.
You are awarded with 6 re-spins. The bonus symbol that triggered the wheel will turn into a scatter and 2 extra scatters are added to the reels. These will now get a ring around it, in the color of the pot you landed on.
Every dragon scatter that lands will leave a ring, or upgrade a ring to a higher level when it lands on the same spot again.
After all spins are done the rings will pay the following: Green, between 2 and 5x bet, Red between 6 and 12,5x bet, Purple between 15 and 25x bet.
Free Spins Feature
3 or more scatters will award 6 free spins.
3, 4 or 5 scatter symbols will start the triggering scatters with green, red or purple rings around them respectively.
Each scatter that appears will leave either a new ring, or upgrade an existing ring.
The special bonus symbol on reel 3 will now add between 1 and 5 extra free spins, up to a maximum of 70.
After all free spins are done, the rings pay the same as above.
Verdict
To be honest, both features do come with an added bonus of 100x bet when you are able to fill all reels with rings.
But also, both features are pretty much the same, except the pots feature add different colored rings depending on which one you triggered.
But overall, I am not hugely interested in this game. It’s another one of those hold & spin slots, just packed differently with the rings. And technically you aren’t holding any symbols, but the basics are the same.
