Pragmatic Play now also released their first Christmas themed slot of the year, together with Reel Kingdom. The game is called Santa’s Slay.
Of course the title is in reference to Santa’s sleigh, but spelled slay, like I’m going yo slay it, or maybe the modern term, you slay girl. I’m not sure, but there isn’t a sleigh on the game, so I’m guessing that’s it.
The game is very colorful with a reindeer next to the reels and lots of presents.
There are 5 reels which are each 4 symbols and 10 paylines. Besides low paying card symbols and medium to high paying Christmas themed symbols, you will also find scatter symbols on all reels. Wilds can only appear during free spins.
Santa’s Slay comes with a low maximum payout of 2.000 times your bet and is a high volatile slot game.

3, 4 or 5 scatter symbols will award 10, 15 and 30 free spins respectively.
During free spins, each spin up to 8 random wilds are kicked onto the reels bu the reindeer. If there are no winning combinations the wilds become sticky and stay on the reels until there is a winning combination. No matter if wilds are used or not, they then are all removed for the next spin and news ones are added.
If wilds land on top of other wilds, they will increase their multiplier by x1 each time it happens. If more than one multiplier wild is used in a winning combination, the multipliers are added together.
3, 4 or 5 scatters during free spins will add 10, 15 and 30 free spins respectively.
Bonus Buy
For 100 times bet you are able to buy free spins. This will award a minimum of 3 scatter symbols.
Verdict
Santa’s Slay looks very nice. It’s colorful and instantly brings you into the Christmas spirit.
The game itself. Not that much. The base game is simply boring. It doesn’t offer anything and with only 10 lines, wins are also not that often. Free spins are fun with the added random wilds, which can also multiply. But, also nothing really special.
It’s a fun game to play for 5 minutes, or maybe buy a bonus. And then move on.
I’m hoping this isn’t their big Christmas release this year and just a filler slot. But we will see.
