Quickspin just released a new online slot game, which to my surprise wasn’t a Christmas themed slot. No it’s an African Savannah themed game called Savannah Fortune.
As you might expect, the reels are set against the Savannah ad symbols all come with a sort of African theme. But instead of a lot of animals, there is only on this one, the king of the jungle, a lion.
The game uses 5 reels that are each 3 symbols high and comes with 10 paylines.
Besides low paying card symbols you will also find medium to high paying gems. Then there is a wild symbol, which is the lion and can appear stacked on all reels, but will always expand to cover the entire reel when it appears only partially. There are no bonus or scatter symbols on this slot game.
Savannah Fortune comes with a very big maximum payout of 30.000 times your bet and is a high volatile slot game.

Free Spins Feature
3 or more wild reels will award 10 free spins. Reels that triggered the bonus will become Hunting Reels.
These Hunting Reels start with a multiplier of x2 and each time a lion lands on that reel, it will increase by x1. These wilds will receive the multiplier when it lands. Multipliers multiply each other when more than one wild is used in a winning combination.
During free spins, any time a lion lands on a Hunting Reel will also fill one more spot on the meter above it, which has a total of 5 spots. Each time you fill 5 spots on any of the reels, you are awarded with 2 more free spins.
Bonus Buy
For 80 times bet you can buy 3 or more wild symbols, triggering free spins. For 200 times bet you can buy 4 or more wild symbols, triggering free spins.
Verdict
Savannah Fortune is a pretty basic slot game. At least that’s how it seems these days with games that come with a massive amount of features.
Here you will only have expanding wilds and free spins with increasing multipliers on those wilds.
But it works very well. I like it when a game is pretty simple, easy to understand, but offers great features. And this one just works. It’s very exciting getting those wilds during free spins and seeing that multiplier grow bigger and bigger.
I am guessing some players will find this game a but too basic maybe, but I think it’s a solid release from Quickspin. Which I have always loved as a provider.
