Pragmatic Play released a new slot game called Sunnydaze Asylum.

The game uses 5 reels which are each 5 symbols high and comes with 3.125 ways. So symbols pay left to right, starting on the first reel no matter where they land.
Besides low paying pills and medium to high paying other, colorful, medical supplies, you will also find wild symbols on reels 2, 3 and 4. Scatter symbols can appear on all reels and lastly there is a special multiplier scatter. Only one of those can land at the same time and more on that one below.

Winning symbols are removed from the reels and all remaining symbols fall down into empty spots. New symbols are then added on top, creating the options for another win. This keeps happening until no more winning combination appears.
Multiplier Scatter
Like I mentioned above, 1 Multiplier Scatter can land during any spin.
During base spins, after there is no more winning combination, the scatter will reveal 1, 2 or 3. Which will award 1, 2 or 3 random multipliers on top of the reels.
Here you have Silver and Gold coils. Silver will get a multiplier of between x2 and x100 and these are added together. Gold can have multipliers of between x2 and x10 and these will multiply the total silver multipliers.
After this the current win from the current spin is multiplied by the number.
Free Spins Feature
3 or more scatter symbols will award 10 free spins.
During free spins the Multiplier Scatter can award up to 5 multipliers instead of 3.
3, 4 or 5 scatters that triggered the bonus will award 1 to 5, 3 to 5 or always 5 multipliers on the Multiplier Scatter.
2, 3, 4 and 5 scatter symbols during free spins will add 3, 5, 10 and 15 extra free spins respectively.

Verdict
Sunnydaze Asylum comes with a very nicely done theme. Which makes for a colorful, but somewhat creepy slot game.
The features are also pretty well done. Especially during free spins. When you get 5 of those Multiplier Scatters and some of them are gold, wins can ramp up fast.
Of course it’s just a little twist on other mechanisms from Pragmatic Play where you get multipliers during free spins. But it works.
Overall it;s a decent slot game and I would give it a try.
